Turffontein Race Meting Thursday 17/03/2022 - Please be advised that following 22.5mm of rain overnight and a track inspection this morning the Tufffontein race meeting today 17/03/22 has been moved to the Vaal main track. There is surface water on the Turffontein track with little scope to improve with an overcast day and chance of further rain forecast.The Vaal only recorded 1mm rain overnight and has a more favourable weather forecast for the day. Penetrometer readings for the Vaal track will be disseminated shortly. Please note race distance changes as follows:-Race 3 now 1400m, Race 6 now 2400m

Wow, Hollywood is so incompetent! Placed bets last night for today’s Turffontein meeting . Now moved to Vaal. Called HW and explained to three people what has transpired and all 3 of them told me that I am not allowed to cancel my bets??? My WSB bets on the other hand were canceled via a single whats app msg!

Can someone from Hollywood please explain this to me! Is my bets still valid for the Vaal? Although its a new track, , some races new distances,scratchings, new track conditions? And why can I not cancel my bets?
