Horses from capetown will be allowed to come race in PE but will be subject to be tested first , and if negative, then a 14 days quarantine in George before they will be allowed back to capetown. If they dont want to take that long journey then they allowed to move horses to gauteng of natal after raiding pe. Because the positive ahs case was confirmed yesterday the restrictions will be in place for 40 days (until 26 march) if no other horse test positive in the area.
The ahs isnt at fairview training centre but within 30km .
Just a quick explanation for the guys who would like to know how it all works
