BOOKMAKERS

Is there a bookmaker in South Africa who will lay a bet on the horses and not restrict you if you happen to win a few bets?

Never been one to back and lay and I bet on footie and golf.Didn’t realise horse racing had a black market over it.

This my take on it.If you punt horses and have never been restricted or had your account closed then you are a Mug punter in the eyes of the bookmakers.

It would be great if a representative from one of your bookmaker sponsors would be kind enough
to reveal if they think it’s fair to offer £3-33 win ONLY on a 9/1 shot after trying to place a bet of £50 ew.
The most alarming part,it was a handicapp at a grade one course that they were sponsoring.

I haven’t named anyone,I haven’t got the time. It’s a very long list and they are not immune from criticism. If you feel I’m being harsh, hear this.
My friends son got addicted to gambling and was playing roulette and casino games with online bookmakers. He packed up after some counselling,he lost his flat.Couldn’t pay the mortgage.Moved back with the parents and these unscrupulous bookies bombarded him with emails and offered him free spins, free bonuses. He got hooked again after splitting with his girlfriend and he maxed out on credit cards and credit.
Two days later he took some rope from his dads garage and hung himself in the local woods.

That is a very very sad story but sadly I can feel what he went through. Gambling can be a addiction to some, I even go through stages of trying to stop and then fall weak and have lost a fortune. I have even at times taken my bank app off my phone and broken my bank card when trying to have a break.
