Tough card tommorow, and only one play for the day. Race 7, number 1 Global Drummer.

This horse is undefeated on the Poly, 4 from 4, and has won twice over 1400m.

The poly also seems to give It a few extra meters in its range, as Global Drummer actually even won a race over 1600m on the poly.

It's used to carrying 60kgs as the norm now so weight of 61kgs is no issue, from gate 2 it will be in front with no energy at all and Khumalo will take it 2 lengths clear from the off, take a breather at the 200m mark and then kick again in the last 100m.

Global Drummer also pings the gate, so no matter how they come out, it will be in the front for sure.

Only danger is Mamara Sea, but the horse is turned 5 now and on its great last run over 2000m would appear to prefer the longer distances which can suit its late out, lengths loss at the gate as the new norm. This horse is drawn 6, and with the Poly it will be shuffled out as horses push towards the inside. It will be running on, no chance to catch Global Drummer if it has to make 5 lengths and more in the straight. 1400m against Global Drummer will be too sharp for it, unless Global Drummer has issues we don't know about.

These Rafeef's seem to enjoy the polytrack and Eastern Cape's very own polytrack superstar Mr Cheyne is ready to pounce on them. I would guess, though race between SWEET THE SOUND and AFRICAN HOOPOE. Looking forward to the race :woohoo:
