Race (2)
Rain In Market, racing fit and with a record of a first and a second place finish over the distance, and never having finished out of the first two at the course must be a sort of PA, Bipot banker. If Stiptelik win under these conditions, then there is SA’s next superstar right there. Prepared to take her on.
Race (3)
The favourite, Lidl Miss Sunshine, to win comfortably or go missing. All three runs have been in the wet to varying degrees, and there have been two winners from her maiden winning race. The third placed finisher, Fleeting, who finished 3.0 lengths behind, came out and won by 1.0 length on good ground next start, and the 7th placed finisher, Call It Fate (10.5 behind), came out and won by 2.0 lengths next time out in PE also on good ground. Banker or leave her out and play the field, you decide.
Race (4)
Masked Vigilante, last chance saloon between the two of us, seriously. Whilst Van Hunks is priced up favourite, taking a steep rise in class, second run after the rest and drawn widest, playing to beat him.
Race (5)
A not so fit Kommetdieding should be too good here.
Race (6)
I think the value lies in Anze Lazio, stiffest test to date, but taking on a few returning from a break and prepping for later in the season. Silver Host returned from 3 previous breaks and never won on return, again, prepared to take him on.
Race (7)
Capitana purely on the weight and better draw in relation to Phil’s Dance.
Race (
Waterberry Lane won a slobberknocker last time out, think this horse has heart.

Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Some to consider...a bit short priced...
Race 2 - 3 Rain In Newmarket
Race 4 - 6 Van Hunks
Race 5 - 3 Rascallion
Race 8 - 2 Mount Anderson / 6 Waterberry Lane
All the best to fellow Clanners for today...stay safe and healthy...lots on the telly today...when we can watch in between load-shedding...

Exciting racing down at Kenilworth. Personally all of Kommetdieding, rascallion and sovereign spirit will not win this.
Going with a place double Silver Operator onto Iris @ 8/1

In race two my colleague Sylvester has previously mentioned how good Really Royal and Cash register are bred to be.
Though I'm rowing in with Really Royal with six offspring of the first dam pagan princess and notably William Longsword.

Overcast but no rain expected- light headwind. Course good.
Race 1 We have Gentleman running. He is well, and did not seem to enjoy Durbanville. Infinite Peace looks hard to beat , but with the scratchings of the two lightly raced Nel runners, we could well be next best.
race 2 Stiptelik was impressive on debut, but she needs a lot of improvement against the older fillies at these weights, and I think that she is mis- priced as favourite. Scented Mistress and Chat Ching may both need further, but are very well in at the weights, and Scented Mistress has had the benefit of a recent run. Rain in Newmarket has solid form and if fit after the break must be in the mix as well.
Race 3 This is an open race - my pick is Adderbury lake but will go wide in the exotics
race 4 Another tricky handicap. I think that Masked Vigilante and Van Hunks should be the two to fight it out, but Sir Tallin must be respected at the weights.
Race 5 The two big guns are Kommetdieding and Rascallion, but both returning from breaks and little between them at the weights. Silver Operator could cause the upset if they both need this run.
Race 6 We are taking a bit of a chance running Crimson King a week after his trip to PE. He has taken the run and the travel well, and will strip a very fit horse. If this does not come too soon, he can win it, as Silver Host and Doublemint are having their first runs after the winter break. Magnificant Seven hasn't run for a year but is good enough at best. Catchafallingstar must be respected at the weights.
Race 7 Very open. Casa Inferno is on the up, is obviously fit, and could be the right one.
race 8 Another open race. Paper Trail could be the right one at the weights. Hyde Park big weight but is the class horse.

Crazy that you have to race your July winner that you almost sold for R10mil for a R50k winning stake!!!

Think R10mil would be achievable in syndication when that horse becomes a Sire

Recent July winners have not done well after winning should have taken the 10 bar and run
