This was yet another sad day for SA racing.

There is nothing worse than a trainer getting through the noms, draw, jockey booking, taking horse to track etc etc

Heartbreaking for owners to have to go through same process and hope no injury or setback before next race 😪

if they had started at 12 then at least 2 more races could have been run - these people have no idea and only worry about tv rights instead of the local owners - no wonder racing is dying - there is no good reason( except tv rights) to start racing so late and having these long boring breaks between races - Very soon the new "when we" will not be a Rhodesian but an ex-punter who will remember when we actually had Racing in South Africa.
