Sectional timing would have been helpful there.
Was Eliud going exceptionally fast or did the other four jockeys have their wages on him?

Wow

REST of the field caught " Napping " there ????

5 runners and 4 jocks either in a coma or on the job.

There's no other explanation. I wonder if the stipes would have noticed anything untoward? If the past is anything to go on the 4 comatose midgets will be questioned and the "move along nothing to see here" verdict will be given. At the absolute minimum riding fees should be forfeited and an official warning get handed out. A month holiday for all 4 for unprofessional conduct would go a long way to show that this sort of action is not acceptable,

Based solely on times both Imperial Master and Paton's Tears ran much slower times than they did over the C/d on previous outings with similar or better weights - The winners time was not exceptional as he had recorded a 2 second faster time in February when I would think times would be slower and he had just contested a hard Gr 2 - I feel at the least all the other jockeys should be called in and actually sanctioned as judging pace is part of a jocks expertise - I was not impressed with a few races yesterday and felt that I was not in on the joke!

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:

a) Jockey C Zackey reported that ELIUD over-raced in the early and middle stages.
b) ELIUD (C Zackey), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer C Dawson advised (LN).

Unbelievable

Unbelievable

Was in reference to the year ban for JP in comparison with the 4 jocks riding yesterday and watching the winner without trying to improve position.
I was just saying that in Singapore these lads would and should have been in HOT water .
