8 races

23 of 66 runners from Snaith Yard

so the remaining trainers can only muster 43 horses.

Only 3 of the 8 races would have survived if Snaith did not have runners.

When the overseas tv deals are signed, South Africa’s biggest selling point in the past was originally the big field sizes

Lol...……...only a Ben Yole can beat those stats. Look at a Launceston Harness Racing fields next time and you will find Yole has about 50 percent of the runners on the card.

Like on Sunday 05/09 Yole runners made up 50 runners of the 109 runners on the 10 race programme.
It was in race 10 that Yole took the proverbial cake...………….he harnessed 8 out of 10 runners in the race.
In fact another Yole, Wayne Yole had the 9th runner and the lone trainer/driver who had the remaining runner was one Connor Crook.[ that's HIS name, not the horse ]

What would happen if Snaith stable got a virus - would there be any Cape Racing?

Owners and punters hate being beaten by the same stable.

Drives people out the game!

You have to say well done to Snaith though, even though it won’t sell our racing to overseas territories when the TV rights cup up for grabs.
