12 Pineapple Express 6.25 4.00 3.57 3.33 3.03 2.86 2.50 2.27 2.00 1.82 1.52 1.43 1.67 1.82 2.50 3.03 3.33 3.57
Vaughan Marshall did say it is not stable money and will be better later and told Marcus not to bustle the horse and Vaughan is definitely one trainer we can trust.
Would be nice to know which okes took those early prices as they got burnt badly.

Now I'm never one to criticise a jockey too much and I did not back Silver Tycoon but that was up there with one of the worst, idiotic rides I've seen and from our champion jockey...
Why in the world would you go that sort of pace over a mile? The horse won both its starts setting a sedate gallop and then kicking off it but that was suicidal - no wonder Safe Passage and Sentbydestiny finished that strongly (even though they're good horses) - Horrific ride.

Shocking rides in the second - pace completely misjudged by the leading 3

Geez man did anyone tell Hewitson it was a 1600m race?
The poor horse was staggering the last 200m.

Much better judgement of pace by Hewitson on Understated and Shwartz on the 5-10 favorite could do nothing from his position off a slow pace even beaten for 2nd by the rank outsider.

I wonder why the Jhb P6 pool reached a net R2 842 236?
There was no P6 carryover.
I think the betting syndicates got involved today!!!
