Trying a Pick 6 today, went very wide. Had to abandon some favorites.

On the back of recent magical Italian performances what about a little bit of:
Ancient Rome in race 6;
but no runners from Azzie.

What a call Mac.
Can't go wrong with the Italian connection.

NOT the greatest of rides....at the bend why not opt to go to the INSIDE instead of trying to go INBETWEEN.....Eventually goes to the inside.........by then race over.

LYLE head and shoulders above the rest.....our LOSS, JAPAN'S GAIN ....:(

He's riding them ALL TO SLEEP.

And as usual with our shit show that is SA racing,the horse that needs to run a race for most people even runs out the top 4.
Paul Peter can win with a 25-1 shot that had atrocious form but can't find a place with a 8-10 horse.

I'm just catching up on racing results after a week away. With regards Humble Tune, I thought not the cleverest ride but still don't think he had enough to trouble the winner. In these days of depleted fields this is really the time for the journeymen horses to earn their keep and I think its just going to get harder as the bombs come out after their winter break. Noble Tune has been largely disappointing and hasnt thrown much to be fair after getting proper support from KZN breeders. With no disrespect intended, perhaps time to consider PE?

Agree poor ride after being well placed?
We would not have beaten the winner and is probably one to follow , after listening to the after race comments.

The reason we have a horse up North as we are basically in Pretoria and the stables and clubhouse is perfect for us.

We will certainly give it another go up here , possibly a bit further.

Then we can make a call but half the fun is getting together and watching the horse from a social aspect.

Maybe he needs to be held up in a 2400m race - Breeding points that way - Vaal
