I haven't yet listened to the discussion as posted - but I have a few thoughts of my own. I think many races are very competitive - throw in this is sort of last gasp saloon for many at the end of the season when many may have gone 'over the top', I think we are going to be treated to some bomb results.

Not sure about the Gold Cup; African Adventure the class horse, but I do think he is better at a galloping track, so I do prefer the up and coming Nebraas from Silver Host.

I'm not that hot on Rio Querari, as I think he may be better over 1000 and down the straight - so I much prefer stable mate Kasimir and I can't believe the odds after his last impressive win on July day; I also think Chimichuri Run is a big runner this track and trip from pole position.

In the Champion's Cup, I prefer Do It Again to Got the Greenlight, but I think they will both have to go some to beat Catch Twentytwo; Jet Dark definitely the 'dark' horse, but has to find more than 3 lengths to beat Catch Twentytwo.

In the Gold Bracelet, I think Summer Pudding is at very cramped odds, and I'd much rather take an each-way stab on Scented Mistress, who is almost at double the odds to run in the first 4, than SP to win

Kuuma is carded to run in R4. Stake R 175 000. He won R2 at the Vaal yesterday . Stake R 70 000. Puzzling.

Eternity Ring is an interesting entry in R5. Has decent local form. I do not recall the Botes yard raiding KZN before.

I agree Eternity Ring could be a fly in the ointment.

Look Yourself also carded to run tomorrow at Turffontein - so doubt it will run on Saturday - so there could still be some scratchings coming through
