It's going to be rather nippy at the Vaal today.

Keep warm and safe.

After a couple of difficult days for the punters we can make a comeback.

The pick 6: favs can win the first and second legs.

Good Punting

Thanks James

I feel Pick 6 is reasonable and for a bit interest, consider below.

Wings of Nike
Super excited
Field or as many as you can
Emerald Quest
Rapid Fire and Anna Capri
Field or as many as you can afford

Good Punting

For me it seems a little more complicated; I do think Super Exited is the right banker in the P6 - other thoughts:

R1: On form not a lot between Right Choice, Frosted Ice, Pick a Lily and Burmese Tiara

R2: I think Sicilian Tiger will improve on his last effort where the jock lost his crop, but the 1 draw could be a negative, so I do prefer the filly Meteoric, with Zuzan obviously not to be ignored

R3: Wings of Nike tries 1200 and has an obvious chance, but imo both Code Zero and Alabama Anna should improve in their 2nd starts and could make the favorite run; Hewitson takes the ride on Coral Dawn, while Mike's Chick could be anything, so maybe not as clear cut as would first appear

R4: Super Excited mad a good debut where on times she finished around 5 lengths in front of WIngs of Nike, ran on over the 1000, so the extra 1200 should not be an issue; does look much better than the other raced runners, so the only threat appears to be the first timer Soweto Spina

R5: Florence does look the right one in an open race; Var Aglow dropping in the ratings and does look a big threat imo; Alex the Great next best

R6: Competitive - Winter Watch has dropped to a very competitive mark and is my preference from Emerald Crest; Deep Thought a bit of an unknown, but imo would have to improve on the KZN form, while Capitiana does look better over 1200 nowadays

R7: Best race on the day; Rapid Fire the beating of Anna Capri at the weights, but Before the Dawn has them both stone cold on best form, while I would not fall off my chair if Glowtoria comes close with the allowance

R8: Toughest race on the card imo; Me Time drops a few points in the ratings and has as good a chance as any imo; this is a minefield however, so I'm going wide

Enjoy B)

Racing in this country is a joke. They didn't want to lose their turnover on the fav being scratched so let it run after all that shit at the start. Knew the result before the race.

Yip not good.
But these days we just hope the trainer has done the necessary work at home.
Can't expect these things anymore.

Yes she came through the gate, but was checked - so we will never know how she would have run bar for the incident - for me she was right there and just did not close the race off - maybe better over the minimum trip at this stage
