1-0 down oh well at least its not knock out football. As i was saying we need a Viera and Petit and then we will win the Champions league, but with this side i will be suprised if we qualify . Porto and Feneblanche are good sides. And Arsenal smash in a late equaliser

Arsenal without a doubt plays the most exciting brand of footie in the Prem...quick interpassing, a lot like Argentina did at the last World Cup. Having a Viera or Petit would be the cherry on top and although I love it when Spurs puts one over them...good footie should always earn the plaudits even from Spurs fans. United's next in terms of the brand...the other teams have good or really good days sometimes but for the 2 mentioned it seems to come very naturally...

Give Chelsea a few more games and you'll see another team!

You are right Jim, they are playing good attacking football (A leaf out of The Arsenal book). I think that they will thump Man United on Sunday.

Spurs play Stoke away in their next match and then Bolton at home. After that they have two easy games...Arsenal away and Liverpool. My luck they will beat Arsenal.

Hehehe...having witnessed some of the games involving Spurs...there's no way we'll get out of this hole anytime soon.
No bite in the midfield and toothless in the attack...Ramos have signed some good ball players but in the EPL you do need quite a bit of mongrel and Spurs does not have that.
The midfield certainly misses Tainio...eventhough he had limitations...nah...reality have hit fairly hard Mori...
We have sadly gone 10 steps back from the Jol era....OUCH!!!

The only player that Spurs sold that was the correct one was getting rid of the usless goalkeeper Robinson.. how he managed to play for England i dont know. Why he got rid of Steed Malbranque and Chimbonda (maybe cause he reacted so poorly when subbed in the carling final). I think that they will stay up cause they have so much money and in January could afford to take on loan players whose sides are out of the champions league. To rub salt into the wounds Hamburg (martin jols new club) are joint top of the Bundesliga in Germany.

Yeah..Keane and Berbatov pretty much had it their way but Chimbonda, Steed and Tainio are sorely missed. Hutton will improve things a bit but the midfield's very mushy...Hibs...Spurs are in a hole like they were last season and in the season when Jol took over from that forgettable Frenchman (Santini??) but it's a bit deeper now...I'm a very worried Spurs supporter but as you can gather from my nickname...PERPETUALLY optimistic!!!!

Stoke City 2 Tottenham 1...still think that tou can get into Europe? To lose to a bunch of humpers and lumpers there is not much hope for the rest of the season.
