Exotics shouldn't pay much, estimated payout R40000 - R60000

With that said... There are some value bets... BREEDING is talk of the day...siding with CURVED BALL...

Took the Lyle Hewittson double @ 5/1

MISS MAGICIAN
AGAINST THE GRAIN

The best bet on the card for me has to be AGAINST THE GRAIN @ 3/1

SIKHULU to give the IRC a long deserved win

First value bet of the day MARSANNE @ 17/1

How good is the 3yo ROYAL WULFF haven't seen Muzi at he's best recently

Can't separate RUN APRIL RUN and UMKHOMAZI

Personal reasons I will leave out COPPER MOUNTAIN...hope a duck falls on him

WINTERTIME looks to have a realistic chance here
@ 17/1

Why had Nexus been scratched from the Breeders Mile....I'm sure the horse had the best chance and beat some useful
sorts.... R375 000 compared to the Durban July where the only way to increase the horse's stakes is to finish in second position which will earn him a healthy R400 000 looks very dim.

If ain't about the money don't be calling me up.

No. Copper Mountain is in the race and gave GTG the fright of his life getting 2.5kgs so no ways Nexus was giving 3.5kgs to Copper Mountain and beating him.

I agree with MoMF - Copper Mountain has to fall over to lose this - Nexus not without hope in of placing in the July imo - ran 2nd in 2019 over 2400 in the (admittedly weak) Winter Derby in the Cape - point is he should get the 2200 and is not totally without hope in the July and place value at current odds imo

Not necessarily easier - this week a banker and next week a two-horse race - for me the other legs look just as difficult  - that's if we race next week
