The Snaith/Fourie combination could have a red-letter day.
Here are my thoughts :-
Race (1)
Persistance worth another chance, not a confident choice though, Shesh Besh was very green on debut, but ran on the best, if not out-paced badly, will run Persistance down. Could be the start of a good day for the Snaith yard.
Race (2)
Mercury Rising unfancied on debut (10/1 out to 40/1) was far from disgraced when taking off in the last 200 from a ways back to close sharply on winner and stable companion, Homely Girl. Should take a power of beating if repeating that effort.
Race (3)
Vida Futura, didn’t get the best of start’s last time when beaten by stable companion, and money horse, Pomp And Power, should be the one to beat here. Serious Business, probably looking for further, must get away on terms.
Race (4)
Winter Scout took time to find her stride last time out, should go close if racing handy and from a good draw. Last time was drawn very wide. Jet For Time should run in the first two.
Race (5)
Silver Falcon the one to beat, especially with the scratching of Aus Bob.
Race (6)
Very open race. Adderbury Lake, the marginal choice. Whatsinadream had a rough passage last time out and from a good draw will go very close, rowing in with this one.
Race (7)
Queens Club weighted to finish ahead of Starboard again.
Race (
Zambaq, should round off what looks to be a competitive day for the Snaith yard.

Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Could be a good day for punters
Favs can win races 2/3/5 and 6
Exotics should be reasonable to catch.
Good Punting.

R2 NIPPY WINTER ( which it's going to be ! ) I think with Grant up, this may just have the beating of Richard on MERCURY RISING.
Can't explain why - just a gut feeling plus Grant has come up & UNDONE Richard on numerous times this season with the longer shot horse.
did play around with YANKEE'S today with Grant v.n. - remember he is on a 10 day or 2 week holiday from tomorrow.
good punting guys & gals

No wind, a lovely autumn day, and the course should be perfect for the horses.
Baby races can always throw up surprises. Snaith a strong hand today, and GvN goes on suspension tomorrow so should be trying hard.
Race 1 Persistance the one to beat but a skinny price. Captain Mike I make the danger as PB does not push his youngsters, so should come on a lot from fair first run.
Race 2 Mercury Rising should be first home of the raced runners. I think that Louis Diamond could finish in front of Nippy Winter
race 3 Vida Futura the one to beat but will have cheek from stablemate Serious Business. Back To You and Forever Bill should be in the shakeup
race 4 More open than the betting suggests, and all of 2,4,5,6,8,9 must be considered.
Race 5 Silver Falcon looks promising, but takes on the useful Mr Frostie which should be well suited to this track. Fifty Fiver not far off.
Race 6 All of 1,2,3,4 must go into perms
Race 7 Field race
Race 8 Again a contest between the 2yo Zambaq, and the older Galiek Yo Baby and Snow Dragon. I bred Versailles, and will be watching her with interest
