Arlington Racecourse going under the hammer

After a number of years standing idle ,Arlington Racecourse here in PE is going under the hammer in an Auction on Friday 23rd April as outlined in the Herald this morning.
The area is for residential and/or industrial development presumably to provide funds
for Phumelela .

Ironically the famous Arlington Racecourse in Illinois in America was put up for sale in February.

Remember the Arlington Million

Not sure what it will fetch now as they tell me that PE (or whatever it's called) is becoming a real shit hole due to lack of municipal infrastructure.
Much the same as the rest of SA.
