Will never forget the day Dayjur jumped the shadow

Rest in Peace Sheik Hamdan. From Tagroodha to Muhaarar, you raced some legends not forgetting Dayjur and recently Baatash.

When I first started watching racing from the UK, the famous silks of the blue with white epaulettes and striped cap always caught my eye. I started following anything that ran with those silks up till the present day.

A massive contribution to racing and the memories on the video clips above gives some indication of the champions he had.🙏

Racing has lost two huge investors so far in 2021.

Very sad news . I think at one time Sheikh Hamdan had his stallions at Summerhill Stud with Mick Goss, prior to sending horses to race with the De Kock stable.

What will be the outcome of his breeding and racing interests in SA and other parts of the world is unknown at this stage I suppose.

As was the case with Prince Khalid Abdullah, there will be job losses with the scaling down of the operations, unfortunately.
