You know what?
We need the punters back on course as soon as possible, just to remind the jockeys to keep on riding for a place even though they can't win.
Aldo probably wouldn't be let out the jockeys room if this race was run at the old Clairwood.
Those punters where not scared to let the jockey know what they thought about some rides.
When the TDK gangsters used to rattle them and Andrew Fortune.

These results are not a once off today. This has been the norm most days.

They loved Robbie Sham.
Just as they left the parade ring you would see them chirp the jockeys and obviously Robbie Sham used to give them plenty winners.
By far the best track I have been to in SA.
I remember Joao Moriera came once for the jockey challenge.

Race 3- was a slow run race- race 2 was 3seconds faster.
If you watch the head-on, in the closing stages Aldo is squeezed between the winner and Shades of Red, has to check his mount momentarily, then just fails to get 3rd. Just bad luck, nothing untoward with his ride.

He chose to go that route so some blame must go to the jockey for making that decision and did he give it a full go to get 3rd once he knew he couldn't win?
Yes we all make mistakes but the world class jockeys just make less.

Kommetdieding impressive again. As the commentator said looks the real deal.
The way it won looks like it will get 2000m, the Cape Derby distance. Entered on Met day over 1800m. Hopefully it can provide Cele, Crawford/Rix with a Grade 1 win soon.
2/1 was available at the off.
