R3 Turf, two horses to take out of the race:
Bat out of Hell: A small nibble in the betting earlier in the day (notable in that this move may have got lost in the support for the bigger stable first timers stealing headlines). Broke well, settled into a nice rhythm. Asked for an effort 450m out. Started picking up 275m from home and then almost clipped heels 250m out, lost momentum. Khumalo tried to go outside, then took her back inside and last 150m she flew home after having no momentum whatsoever.
Magic Choice: Quickest 400m to the finish
