Pick 6 thoughts for Saturday 28th
4 years 6 months ago - 4 years 6 months ago
We have heard from all the experts and stable inputs.
What are your thoughts around a pick 6 perm.
Will sit with Georgie the Greek to try and reach our final selection.
Here are my early thoughts

We as punters have experienced numerous bloodbaths in the exotics.
Greedy trainers and owners? Syndicates? Corona? Weather? Tracks?................?
A wee percentage of: 1,2,3,4,5,10,12,13,14,15/ F / 1 / F / 1,9 / F

My thoughts
Very open race day
Leg 1 Gallic Princess, Cockney Pride, Pool Party, Cavivar, Springs of Carmel, Ecstatic Green, Winter Smoke, Keep the Lights on
Leg 2 Mr Flood, Eden Roc, Bohica, Bold Ransom
Leg 3 Mount Pleasant
Leg 4 Tierra del Fuego, Zilzaal, Summer Pudding, Atyaab, Crown Towers, Youcanthurrylove, Charles, Pack Leader
Leg 5 Queen Supreme, War of Athena
Leg 6 Factor Fifty, Dark Moon Rising, Sunshine Silk, African Adventure, Shenanigans, Brand New Cadillac
In a smaller perm will banker Summer Pudding
If I have to cover Mount Pleasant, I will add Bingwa, MK's Pride and Winter Stories, but then the perm will get out of hand
Have fun whatever you do

I think that War of Athena and Mount Pleasant are the two bankers. I’ll take a cheeky one with Pack Leader a banker as well and very wide the other 3 legs.
Use the jackpot to cover upsets of the bankers.

Most people will bank Mount Pleasant and War of Athena (some people will throw in Queen Supreme) - then as wide as possible in the other legs.
For me personally I think Ecstatic Green should prove hard to beat in the opener - so I am going with the following 7 tickets (if one of the 'first choices' get beat and the 'alternative' arrives, will still be a winner)
13 (1,2,3,10,11,14,15)
4,9,12 (1,2,7,8,11,13)
1 (2,3,4,5,6,9)
1,2,3,9,10,11,13,14,15,16,17,19 (rest)
9 (1,2,3,4,7,8 )
2,3,7,8,9,10 (1,4,6,11,12)
