Not until they give an explanation into the poor payout. I've heard about the big players taking perms in multiples like 100 x etc. but those shrewdies play it with the bookies.
How about the bookies making their own pools?
If it can be done with the Roulette every 4 minutes why not with other bets?

The quickmix2 jackpot today paid out R11.50 for official SP of 12/1 ,7.5/1,5/2 and 22/10.The payout should be at least R1237.This is impossible to fathom and I would appreciate if you can ask the relevant authorities about this dividend..My emails remain unanswered.

The concern with regard to this bet is that legs 1 and 3 from Geelong was actually run an hour after the time on the tabsheet. (don't know if there was a delay or whether Tabonline just got the time wrong), meaning that legs 2 and 4 were actually run before legs 1 and 2. So the, question is when was this bet closed. Was it at the off of leg 2 which was the 1st leg actually run or was it later when the results of a few legs were known already..

Geelong races were delayed on the day by a long time. Think you may have hit the nail on the head Kgy, seems the bet was only closed at the start of leg one, which was when two other legs had already run. May even have been closed with only one leg left. Who knows. Someone definitely knew the results, and hammered the bet. A simple investigation will find the bet responsible, was probably something's like banker banker banker few horses or banker couple banker couple. Man times.

Lol if some placed the bet after the race ran why not cancel their bets (the problem of stone age tote system which cant filter bets taken from off-time). Still it cant warrant a dividend of 11.40.

This is the kind of cr@p the Hawks should be investigating !!

Clear to see that bets were placed here while the results were already known. There is no incentive for the tote to issue a statement saying such here, because once they do, punters will start being aware that this happens, and start questioning everything untoward, of which there has been a lot of lately. Hard to say whether this was done due to internal people looking to profit, or whether it was done just through incompetence, but I think it is safe to say that the silence says more than enough. Let's consider that they were quick to issue a statement on the PA Quickmix for the other day, then we know they're aware of this.

The only way to make them explain this and many other stuff ups by them,is to hit them where it hurts,do not play your bets on the tote.
In other words boycott the tote.
It's got to be one of the worst run businesses in SA,and remember we got SAA and Eskom.
They couldn't care so therefore I won't bother punting with them.

An unprecedented software glitch generated an incorrect payout for Jackpot Quickmix 2 on 11 November. Corrective action has been taken to prevent a recurrence.

The payout should have been R3,694. TAB accountholder balances will be automatically adjusted, while affected retail customers are requested to lodge a claim in the normal way or contact TAB Customer Care on 0861 444 822. TAB apologises to customers for any inconvenience arising from the glitch.
