If a Democrat supporter like Alan Dershowitz, who is much more knowledgeable about these matters than either of us, says otherwise, then I'm not the one who is ignorant...

Impeaching DJT for speech protected by the 1st Amendment and confirmed a few times by the US Supreme Court...and not even having a committee hearing (1st time ever for an impeachment) to present evidence of the "high crimes and misdemeanours" before sending to the House vote...no semblance of due process and doing what is right...just a rush to judgment...but that's all okay because it kicks the bad man a little bit more...
