You've got to be gobsmacked listening to this lot. The fact that Fox News is even entertaining this nonsense, what are they hoping to achieve? :-

well as reported by an Israeli Space Mechanic Trump knows there are Aliens that have contacted the USA and are working with them so I suppose he can get Captain America(Oh I forgot Chris Evans is a Democrat pity ) to plead his case with the Intergalactic Council who I believe next sit at Alpha Centauri next quarter.
Ridiculous children that have no decency and show their moral compass with an inability to lose with dignity...

Not as much as a peep coming out of the Trump quintet. Maybe at long last they know that the game is up.

Not every poster waits patiently for you to post CnC so we can reply. You and the USA have a new president so enjoy him as I am sure you will Time will tell whether the right choice was made however I will never change my view on Trump as president and that is where i shall leave this discussion as it was about Trump or Joe for president and as the electoral college has voted so be it. For all the discussion heated or otherwise thanks to Bayern Mr H Lionel TN Craig and other contributors for this and of course CnC who made this very interesting as a very passionate democratic supporter.

If you are tarred and feathered (appropriate for a chicken !!) in the MSM and Big Tech narrative then nothing said to you is going to change that...

This election has set the US on a path of many years of Democrats in the White House...guess the citizens will have the deal with the immediate and longer term consequences and we will also reap some of the effects...my daughter's generation (not you or I) will have to cope with restrictions on movement, restrictions on speech that doesn't align with the narrative and bigger government that taxes more, steals more, thinks it knows more...it is the smug arrogance of the (educational) elites that people don't like but those overlords just don't get it...

And this narrative about DJT's "abject failure" causing 300000 deaths shows your delusion...you perpetuate the MSM and Big Tech narrative that there would have been little to no deaths if anyone but DJT was POTUS...the facts are that an average of 7500 people die in the US every day even pre-Chinese coronavirus...so whose hands are those deaths on? No personal accountability? And I assume that governors have zero powers and authority and accountability in a federal constitutional republic? The Democrats, MSM, Hollywood and the rest of the alphabet soup actually wanted DJT to try to be dictatorial to wash their hands clean of the deaths caused by their actions in states under their control...

So, us "quintet" being silent is more to do with your blinkers and deafness rather than defeatism...we cannot make you see and listen to that which you have no interest in seeing or listening to...

Take care of yourself...

As I posted before sarcasm is the lowest form of wit and you have to learn how to accept a win before you can a loss. Over your summer break take some time out, reflect how you have reacted, that’s goes for the other 4 as well, and maybe just maybe the next time you lose at something that you passionately wanted to win, you may just accept it, take the hit and move on. You will feel better about it as life is far too short to be constantly arguing that you never lost and you were cheated especially over someone who would not give you the time of day unless you slipped him an open cheque. Let’s all move on from this thread as the fat lady now has sung her last song.

Jury have you come up with your decision and if so what may it be. Your honour the jury finds that Joe Biden has won the election fair and square and we sentence Donald Trump to eat an extra large portion of humble pie. Case closed, have a happy holiday and let’s hope Biden makes a success of his Presidency as no mater where in the world you reside it is important that he does.

Peace and love to all.

Biden Slams Trump for 'Extreme Position', Praises 'Flame of Democracy' After Electoral College Vo

US election 2020

On Monday, the US Electoral College confirmed its vote for the victory of Democrat Joe Biden in the 2020 presidential election, without any so-called 'faithless electors' - those who choose to vote differently from the popular election results.

Shortly after Monday's Electoral College vote, Joe Biden delivered remarks in Delaware in celebration of his apparent victory, doubling down on calls to "unite" and "heal" and saying that "integrity of our elections remains intact".

"In this battle for the soul of America, democracy prevailed," Biden said during his speech. "Now it's time to turn the page, as we've done throughout our history – to unite, to heal."

His words were echoed by Kamala Harris, who tweeted the quote, describing it as "Joe Biden speaking truth."

The Monday vote resulted in Biden passing a threshold of 270 electoral votes required for him to become president, as he secured 306 endorsements, while Republican rival Donald Trump received 232 votes in total.

The Electoral College votes will be certified by the US Congress on 6 January.

In America, politicians don’t take power — the people grant it to them.

The flame of democracy was lit in this nation a long time ago.

And we now know that nothing — not even a pandemic or an abuse of power — can extinguish that flame.
— Joe Biden (@JoeBiden) December 15, 2020
Biden on Everyday Americans

During his remarks, Biden praised local state officials and election staffers for their work in the 2020 election, pointing at the COVID pandemic and "political pressure" - noting particularly "verbal abuse and even physical threats" - as challenges faced by election workers, who were often volunteers.

"It is my sincere hope we never again see anyone subjected to the kind of abuse and threats we saw in this election. It's simply unconscionable. We all [owe] these public servants a debt of gratitude. They didn't seek the spotlight," Biden said. "Our democracy survived because of them, which is proof once more that it's everyday Americans infused with honour, character and decency that is the heart of this nation."

The Democrat also outlined that the officials did not "give credence to what they knew was not true".

"They knew this election was overseen, was overseen by them. It was honest. It was free and it was fair," Biden said.

Biden on Trump's 'Extreme Position'

The Democrat referred to Trump's multiple legal attempts to question the outcome of the election, recalling "dozens and dozens and dozens" of challenges that the president's campaign brought up and noting that "they were heard".

“Thankfully, a unanimous Supreme Court immediately and completely rejected this effort," Biden continued, slamming Trump because he "refused to respect the will of the people, refused to respect the rule of law, and refused to honour our Constitution. The court sent a clear signal to President Trump that they would be no part of an unprecedented assault on our democracy.”

Biden also addressed his 306-232 margin in the Electoral College, noting that it was the same as Trump's 2016 victory and recalling that, at the time, the Republican described it as a "landslide".

'Final-stage Challenge'

Trump has been opposing the 2020 election outcome since the first media calls for the election arrived, projecting Biden to win the presidential race.

POTUS has claimed election fraud "centrally engineered" by Democrats and subsequently filed numerous lawsuits, attempting to impugn the election results, initiating recounts and demanding that poll workers stop counting what he described as "illegal votes". The lawsuits, however, were shot down by the courts.

While Trump still refuses to concede, the Electoral College votes are now to be sent to the US Congress, where they will be certified in a joint session led by US Vice President Mike Pence on 6 January. The new president will then take the oath of office on 20 January, Inauguration Day.

However, some Republicans, according to reports, are expected to create "a final-stage challenge" in the House of Representatives in an attempt to reverse the Biden victory.

“We have a superior role under the Constitution than the Supreme Court does, than any federal court judge does, than any state court judge does,” Representative Mo Brooks, who is leading the reported effort, claimed in an interview cited by The New York Times. “What we say, goes. That’s the final verdict.” he asserted.

Several Senate Republicans reportedly oppose the initiative, pointing out that "regardless of how many objections get filed and who signs on, they are not going to affect the outcome of the process".

You've got to wonder whether the movie, Despicable Me, was about Felonious Gru or D J Trump and his present day minions. Talk of not knowing when to quit, shocking :-
