Interest regarding the odds on favourite in race 4.
Mr FZ from SP posted there after the horses first run,'this will win the July 2021'.

I lost out on my anti post bet on the Golden Horseshoe after it was eliminated.
I also went lights out July day, on the horse that beat it.......unplaced.
There has been only one placed runner from that field since.

Its first run on the 8th on poly was bizzare,worth a watch for those interested.
With the extra distance,blinder here.
Even DIA took a few runs to win its maiden,2Julys under its belt.

Worth a double with Anton in the 2nd.
Ran on in 1st start,led in the 2nd until 100m mark,pulled out to last.

Lovely to see Kannemeyer and De Melo did their homework.
You want to win races,the most important thing is to get the horse to jump out the gates on terms.
So disappointing when trainers haven't schooled their horses properly.

definitely a temperamental horse...the problems at the start cost him the race...but he was also very naughty in the parade ring...

I fear that unless Legitimate is gelded he will be pretty ordinary... I'm sure the connections will have Belgarion in their minds who gained wings once he lost his marbles... Nice ride by Marcus
