Seems really tough.

Keen to read comments from PeterD and also appreciated.

R1 interesting runner which was a reserve runner is Royal Flush. (Gets a great draw)

Not sure what to make of it as on form seems held by 2 others however the horse is open for massive improvement and these are all 2 yr olds.

Initial Snaith/Cheyne horse was drawn in the ocean so maybe just maybe made sense to scratch it.

Probably the best thing to do... However, it is so tempting to exclude the bass yard from all selections until they have a winner again.

agree with today's card being difficult to assess and upsets bound to crop up

my advice is to play low draws with decent form

ones i like though are

WORDSWORTH each way
POLICY TARGET place value
CROME YELLOW if in the mood should be hard to peg back so good place value imo

that is it lol...the rest is hard to decipher

89 runners without a winner.
16 horses today so hopefully they break their duck before they reach the century mark.
According to their interview Reef Knot their best in Race 9 16-1
Bad Habit in race 7 their next best at 4-1

A sunny day in CT with no wind and as we had no rain fora few days the going should be good.
The difficulty today is that many of the better runners have drawn badly, so a lot will depend on luck in the running.
Race 1 Desert Illusion, Firealley, Innerspace promising form but wide draws. Bumrah, Moroccan Retreat, Wordsworth and Royal Flush come into the picture with good draws.

Race 2 Gayleactic Star would be a firm choice if not for the draw. Stuck on You has solid form and now jumps from draw7 so may be the right one.Oscar's Winner good debut but also a wide draw. However these 3 should be enough for the bipot.
Race 3 Turn it Up Harvey another with good form but wide draw. Pacific Duke good improvement last time. Paper Trail good debut and a reasonable draw. Centillus, Policy Target and Savannah buddy all fair debuts and can step up.
Race 4 Hurricane Harry showed good improvement last time and could follow up with a paper weight. Very open if he fails.
Race 5 Competitive handicap. My shortlist is Rockin Ringo, Tillieangus, Destin, Ronaldo, Anecdote, Black Belt. EW value is Anecdote.
Race 6 A small but competitive field. Spirit Festival a narrow first choice from Vodka Lime and Dark Crystal
Race 7 Another open race. On Captain's Side is progressive but wide draw. Bad Habit should go close from nice draw. Many with chances.
race 8 Again tricky. Short list Caribbean Sunset, Our Prized Jewel, Faye, Meet at the George, Sweet Karma, Winter's Awakening.
Race 9 Sakura Trick and Wife of Windsor should appreciate the step up in trip. Reef Knot has consistent form. Musical Glitch is my pick and a possible banker.
