Just looking at the card, Anton Marcus looks to be the key to making loads of money or failing dismally from a punting perspective.

Race 1, Light The Loose, in the absence of money for any of the first timers, does look to be the right one in the race. The booking of Marcus is significant, considering Veale is riding on the day.

Looking at his book of rides, the engagement with the Marshall horses is interesting. Marcus gets the mounts on Gainsford (5/2) in the 2nd, and Joseph Barry (16/10) in the 7th. Going to stick Gainsford in a multiple based solely on the fact that he is an un-raced juvenile probably being aimed at a feature during the season. Beside they have Joseph Barry here and if Gainsford wasn't showing them anything back home, they would have probably left him in the Cape.

Joseph Barry, I will play to beat him with Greenlighttoheaven. Joseph Barry will either win on ability alone, but i don't think they will cut him in half to win this as it must be a prep for sprint day at Scottsville. Greenlighttoheaven does have the fastest time over 1000m and has run at Scottsville before. He does look to be a speedy sort, and if the course comes up firm on the day, he's the one they will all have to beat.

Race 3, this is the most interesting for me considering the above bookings for Marshall, and here a Marshall horse is priced up out-right and very short in the market, Rascallion (8/10), drawn fairly deep. Oddly enough, Marcus has opted to stick with Mounted Warrior (5/1) from stall gate 1. Know which one I'm going to be with.

Race 8, although a touch on the short side, think Pretty Young Thing (18/10) will take some stopping. Whilst Temple Grafin is the highest rated horse, Marcus has won with her, but she may appreciate further.
