There is a hive of activity on facebook about this guy getting banned from Gold Circle property. This has occurred allegedly due to him questioning on social media whether the NHA have the correct permission to race. From what I gather, this guy has been training under the lap for many years for Winston Chow. My question is why has his banning taken so long, or were the NHA unaware of his presence? It seems clear that should he have kept stum and not criticised the NHA publically, they would have been happy with his activities carrying on.
This guy seems to think that his constitutional rights to earn a living will trump the NHA rules. It could get interesting if this goes to court.

The short response is.. The services I provide (requiring access to training centres) fall predominantly under media and journalism.. services not regulated by the NHRA rulebook. Furthermore I am not registered with the NHRA in any capacity either. I also deliver feed regularly because one of the suppliers to a trainer I work closely with is on my route and it saves on delivery charges. My clients spend tens of thousands of rands just at Summerveld alone every month keeping their horses in training. Our primary service provider (the trainer) within the Summerveld complex has a lease for his yard. I could go on but there's links below for more info if the picture isn't clear yet. I am allowed to work.. the same as the other media consultants and journalists, the same as the feed delivery guys etc. For reasons explained in the link below, the services I provide are critical to the successful outcome of an international project in running for over a year now. I cannot be banned as an individual with no details provided and no accusations, that's clearly a witch hunt and there's clearly consequences and liability to it.
The bottom line will be rule 72... a few of us forumites have fallen foul of the rule in the past.
And then the fact of the matter is that the Landlords have right of admission to their facilities.
I think that the parties involved should sit down and find common ground , work from there.
Whatever the story is. I think his a good horsemen. Passionate about horses and his a type of guy you need around them even if that’s fetching food. His good for racing at any level. His one of the good guys!
