Salute the tote trash!

There is no greater contribution to the game of racing than the few percent of a pick 6 punter. He has no voice, he owns a share of nothing other than a dream of hitting it big. He (not being sexist but there are little to no female punters in a tote) takes a straight line pick 6 at the end of the month and settles for a percentage later in the month. But he never wins... He comes back for more to feed the thrill of a win! (the fees to get his runners there are more than his meagre salary....

Never has it been so obvious what the nickel and dime punter contributes to the sport. Look at the P6 pools. R1m plus P6 pools daily pre lockdown and in week 1of the return, the pools can hardly make R300K. Shame! No tote trash to support the pools.

This game is will always be fixed by inside info, lack of public transparency, boys club mentality and elitism....until it falls forever!

Well said Al

There’s bookmakers taking bigger bets on a single Belarusian football match than the the combine totals of today’s pools

The Tote guys have issues joining!

How do I join?

Go to bla bla and fill in a form you can’t read.

How do I deposit 🤷‍♂️

What if I’ve not got a bank 🤷‍♂️

How do I withdraw 🤷‍♂️

How do I place a bet 🤷‍♂️

I’ll just wait!

David Safi has sent notice that he intends to restart SARGA

The South African Racegoers Association , with the intention of securing the carry overs and lost ticket money for the Punters if PHUM are Liquidated.

What has always been required is tote punter education. Bob has listed some of the short comings that are not available or may be available but not exactly made clear to the man in the street. Flashing ads up on TT is not going to inform the man in the street as he cannot fucking view them.

A big example is this FLASH voucher where one can without a bank account conduct tote tellybet payments by purchasing a voucher and on a phone app transferring cash value into a tote account.

The other day when buying a cash Flash top up at Checkers the large on screen monitor behind the money counter was advertising Hollywood betting and how to open an account. Tote boys catch a wake up, the bookies are miles ahead of you .Where are your ads where is your tote education. It was squandered on Futsol and other hair brained schemes like virtual racing and Atari styled casino games.

Please enlighten me?
Or should i just wait for the Tote to re-open?

Problem is not depositing on TAB ONLINE but withdrawals is another story. They are extremely efficient in getting your blood pressure to rocket.
Have been using INTERBET for all tote bets since 1 June with no issues.
Will never deposit at TAB ONLINE again.

I know Gary is a great guy and i was/am very disapointed not having heard from him so i thought maybe he never got the msg. So i am thinking...what sort of service will i get if/when i need it?

Today is the first "big" meeting after the lockdown. For the love of everything holy, why has there not been a significant (7 figure minimum) carryover contribution to get the interest in the pick 6 going again?

I have serious concerns about where that carryover money is. My bet is that it has been utilised elsewhere and at best an IOU is all that is left of this slush fund.

If you have a smart phone you can download the Flash voucher app.

Take cash or bank debit card to Checkers Shoprite PEP and ask to buy a top up voucher for any amount you wish.

You get a top up pin number on a till slip, enter number on the phone app. The charge for voucher is R6 deducted from your deposit balance. This balance can be broken down to any increments you want to convert. Say you put R300 in your Flash app acc you will have a balance of R294. You can convert say R144 into a flash1 voucher.

You will get a voucher number(another pin) on the phone and you enter this number into the tote account online deposit portal and instantly your tote account is credited with your voucher value.

You have retained a balance in your Flash App account to use on another day or lose R144 on bets and you still have R200 to load and repeat.

I am using this to deposit the odd cash I get from chores and off book cash jobs. The last thing I want is to go to a branch of my bank which is now days no where near anywhere and stand in a queue for 2 hours or worse deposit in an ATM that can take up to 48 hours to verify in my bank account not to mention the charges for cash deposits and worse avoid pesky debit orders for loan payments I wish to defer under Covid conditions.

Too true, why wait for the lockdown to be lifted whenever so that tote outlets open and only then do we get a stab,
There were 2 P6 carryovers in this week, created by us online punters only. So why could they not be paroled into the pool for today, Rather slack and a poor excuse I say,

I see that they are adding the carryovers to todays P6 pool but only estimate pool to be a BAR.
