Couple of wrong answers and the Geoff Woodruff question was all wrong - his first runner was way earlier and he won back to back July's with El Picha!

That may have been his first Dubai runner it most definitely was not his first runner. He had his first winner in the Cape long before he made the trek up North.

When did you decide you would like to be a racehorse trainer? When working for Ralph Rixon in the mid 1980’s.
What year did you take out your trainer’s licence and how many horses did you start with? In 1988 I took out my licence and started with 14 horses, two of which Carol and I owned ourselves.
Do you recall having your first runner as a trainer and your first winner? Very well, as my first four runners were winners. My first winner/runner was a horse called Third Admiral in a 1800m race at Milnerton with Felix Coetzee aboard beating Anton Marcus a short head on one of Stanley Amos’s horses.

I would say, if one is so inclined that Geoff's best horse was jet master but he took over the career of the champ when Tony millard left.
We have had "multiple" people's champions including pierre jourdan so, I would imagine the bass Robinson stable would be able to give you the true nickname of pocket.
Still, an enjoyable quiz, thank you for the effort and look forward to the next one!
PS: Not to be pedantic but the royal blue colors belongs to Sheik Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum. I guess shadwell farms would have been acceptable also?
