Race 5, Heaven's Embrace (17/10), whilst this horse hasn't won in a very long time, she does appear to be bumping the right kind of field, under the right conditions. She has competed against much stronger and a repeat close to any of her last two runs, and she should be in the winner's enclosure.

Taken the treble with the two which are very well in on the Turffontein card :-

Heaven's Embrace X Al Mutawakel X Celtic Sea (5/1)
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Race 6 no 2 Anse Lazio , last start finished 2l behind the 3 but is 3kg better off at weights , this is now 3rd run after a 2 month break and should be his peak run , 6/1 seems some value to me

DURBANVILLE - 21 March 2020

RUNNER COMMENTS SPONSORED BY INTERBET

Regimental - Work is good at home, however his form has to improve to be considered. He won his maiden on this course and can be considered an outside quartet chance on this basis.

Var’s Boy - First run for the stable over the 1000m and this trip looks on the sharp side.

Heaven’s Embrace - Working well at home and enjoys this trip, must be included in all bets E/W chance.

Earl Of Warwick - Has found form again at this rating, and will enjoy the trip. Can be included in your perms.

Kursk - Working well at home, back to the 1600m and from the draw must be respected.

Smart William - Is working well at home, but has a wide draw to contend with and will need some luck in the running.

Maitland Magic - Will enjoy the step up in trip, has consistent form and must be included!

If horses ever had to make fools of trainers it got to be the Cape babies.
They usually get it wrong more often than not.

Never put your faith in two year olds, fellow poster, Greg Bucks, taught me that lesson a very long time back.
