• ALAN GREEFF - Number 1 - ANDREA : He has an each way shout.
• TARA LAING - Number 8 - CAPTAIN CHARGER : He has his first start, he is a nice horse and will be thereabouts.
SHARON KOTZEN - Numbers 2 and 5 - MAGNIFICUS & VIBERMATIC : Magnificus has his first run for the yard, it is a starting point and will be a learning curve for us. Vibermatic has been over racing over shorter so he’s cuts back in trip to the 1200m and we are hoping for improvement.
GAVIN SMITH - Number 4 - WHAT A PRINCE : He ran a fair race in his last and should be thereabouts again.
RACE 2 :

• ALAN GREEFF - Number 2 - ASCENDING HEIGHTS : She has a winning chance.
• GAVIN SMITH - Numbers 4 and 5 - LADY OF CHOICE & GREEN EDITION : Lady of Choice has her first run for the yard, she is working well. Green Edition improved in her last and further improvement is expected.
JACQUES STRYDOM - Numbers 3, 6, 7 and 8 - STYLISH ICON, COIN MISTRESS, BILLI ANN & QUEEN NITOCRIS : Stylish Icon is trying further, we are hoping for improvement. Coin Mistress didn’t run as well as expected with the blinkers off on Tuesday, they are back on and better is expected. Billi Ann ran very well on Tuesday, she is improving with each run of recent and can earn again. The extra here is expected to suit Queen Nitocris and she could manage the back end of quartets.
SHARON KOTZEN - Number 9 - IDEAL DANCER : The 2000m distance is what she is bred for, but though she has had two educational runs and is expected to improve, she is also still expected to be green.
RACE 3 :

• GAVIN SMITH - Numbers 1, 4 and 6 - COMET PATH, GOOD TIMES ROLL & ROYAL SPLURGE : Comet Path is trying further. Good times Roll is always thereabouts and is expected in the fray again. Royal Splurge ran a fair last and can place again.
• ALAN GREEFF - Number 3 - FLYING COLOURS : She ran a much improved race in her last and if she follows up she has an each way chance.
JUAN NEL - Number 5 - TERRA CREEK GIRL : It isn’t ideal that she runs again so soon, but the change of surface in her last did upset her plans as I really wanted to see her on turf again. So, on grass now, she has been looking for the six furlong trip and I am hoping for improvement.
MONTANA TURNER - Number 7 - ANNAMARIE : She is a temperamental filly and I am just hoping for improvement.
GRANT PADDOCK - Number 2 - BRIDESMAID BLUES : The blinkers are off trying further, she is working well and can place.
RACE 4 :

• ALAN GREEFF - Number 3 - AFRICA’S GOLD : He has his first run for the yard and I am hoping for improvement.
• GAVIN SMITH - Number 5 - FIERY FORT : He races off two good wins, is on the up and is working well.
SHARON KOTZEN - Numbers 6 and 8 - ROCK STARDOM & THE GOON SHOW : Rock Stardom has the cheekpieces on. We are hoping they help her to concentrate as she really did not put in a concerted effort in her last and can do much better as her previous form attests to. The Goon Show is in consistent form, he was too far back in his last and still managed to pull hard early. The blinkers are off as a result, especially as he tries further and considering his run over 2200m on Poly, he should get the 2400m here. If he does he is not without chance.
JACQUES STRYDOM - Number 10 - OMAHA TRIBE : He ran a another good race in his last, is well and can find the frame.
GRANT PADDOCK - Numbers 4, 7 and 9 - SABASTIAN, TOM TOM & AWAKENING : Sabastian is very honest and never far back. Tom Tom is better than his last two. Awakening is in fair form. All three runners can find the frame.
RACE 5 :

• ALAN GREEFF - Number 3 - MIGHTY ROCK : He is in good form and should be in the mix.
• GAVIN SMITH - Number 5 - BHALTIER : He managed a fair race in his last considering he was slow away and he should be right there.
GRANT PADDOCK - Number 6 - NINJINSKY’S SON : He is out at the weights but is very well and will be in the money.
TARA LAING - Number 1 - ORIENTAL WORLD : He left the maidens and though against a lot stronger here, he is better suited to this trip.
JACQUES STRYDOM - Number 2 - KING CAPONE : He is in good form and though not well in at the weights, is definitely not out of it.
SHARON KOTZEN - Number 4 - GOLD PACT : We are hoping he jumps on terms here as he is always flying late from too far back.
RACE 6 :
1st four selections

• GAVIN SMITH - Numbers 1, 4 and 7 - MASTERFUL, BORN A BULLY & TATTOED ROCKER : Masterful is much better on turf and has a chance in this line up. Born a Bully enjoys track and trip and should be thereabouts. Tattoed Rocker is exected to improve back on turf.
• ALAN GREEFF - Numbers 3 and 6 - ALWAYS DANCING & BLACK GARDENIA : Always Dancing is better than her last two, I am hoping she can regain form. Black Gardenia is in good form and has an each way chance.
GRANT PADDOCK - Number 8 - ROCK THE COT : He tries further on suggestion of the jockey, is working very well and has a quartet chance.
JACQUES STRYDOM - Number 11 - CHESTNUT WILD : He has a light weight and is well drawn, perhaps an outside place chance now back on turf.
DUNCAN MCKENZIE - Number 2 - BELL TOWER : She is a better miler but is looking well and working well and is never far back.
RACE 7 :
1st four selections

• ALAN GREEFF - Numbers 1, 3 and 4 - SAIL SMARTLY, MIO GRANDE & TEOFILIA : Sail Smartly has a winning chance. Mio Grande may need this, it is also on the short side for him. Teofilia could place.
• SHARON KOTZEN - Number 7 - TWIN FALLS : She ideally need to drop more in the ratings but is well suited at the conditions here being a Novice Plate. She is a runner.
DUNCAN MCKENZIE - Number 2 - DIVINE LAW : He found the 1000m on Poly last time out too sharp and can run a better race here.
TARA LAING - Number 5 - CHAINSAW : He has his first run for the yard and could perhaps place.
JACQUES STRYDOM - Numbers 6, 9 and 10 - JADEED, ADIOS GRINGO & ON THE SCENT : Jadeed seems to have lost his form and we are just hoping he can start to swing around again. Adios Gringo can improve back on turf. On the Scent ran a fair race on local and Poly debut last time out and back on turf, can get involved.
RACE 8 :

• ALAN GREEFF - Numbers 2 and 3 - GREAT ACHIEVEMENT & LUMIERE : Great Achievement is always thereabouts. Lumiere has a winning chance.
• JUAN NEL - Number 6 - NATURAL JADE : She has her first run out the maidens, but is working well and a good run is expected.
TARA LAING - Number 8 - GIMME KATRINA : She was disappointing last time out but we are expecting a better run over the 1000m trip now.
JACQUES STRYDOM - Numbers 9, 11 and 13 - HONEY SUITE, GO SNOW GIRL GO & TREE OF LIFE : If Honey Suite reproduces her good last she is definitely a runner. Go snow girl Go has lost form, her work suggests she can do so much better, so just hoping she brings her work to course. Tree of Life can run better this distance.
GAVIN SMITH - Numbers 1 and 7 - WESTERN ANGEL & FLAME UP : Western Angel is coming back to form. Flame Up will enjoy being back over 1000m where she has done well.
DUNCAN MCKENZIE - Numbers 4, 10 and 12 - AFLEET FLYER, ESCAPE TO VEGAS & FURLA : Afleet Flyer could find the 1000m sharp, but she can’t stand in the box and takes her chances here, she could place. Escape to Vegas ran a good race in her last, she took it well and can earn again. Hoping for improvement from Furla.
