Re:Summer Cup Replay... This was a huge run from Soqrat!

Our handicappers are to trigger happy with the top horses. makes it nearly impossible for them to win in handicaps anymore.

cant wait for Monday afternoon to see the new ratings for the two Tarry runners.

Herculean effort from Soqrat.... Absolute cracker of a run....

......and Tarry sends out his pacemaker to stretch the MDK charges and it never got headed.....:whistle:

Brilliant effort by Soqrat. I make him the horse to be with him for the WFA races this Cape season.

Not sure Soqrat and Barahin will make the trip to Cape Town - both may need a break after a busy time

Shayne I’m with you there .. great ride by youngster though and I think Soqrat was too wide but probably couldn’t get in early

Review of the summer Cup days

Positives
The pick Six pool was phenomenal! dont know how that happened!
The track looked amazing.
The old Parade ring is brilliant.
The tent infrastructure looked top class.
Some really good racing, even if the results were challenging.
Nadine and Andrew Bonn top draw in my opinion

Negatives
Operators communication around the protests.
Confusion on the starting times
The weird setup for post race presentations.
The RA Girls, not on point.
The presenters going on and on about the amazing vide blah blah
and finally
the very bizarre commentary of the stayers race. an yes they cocked it up at the top of the straight. its not the grand national. one commentator will suffice.

I'm hoping you're wrong Frodo. Both horses will be huge runners for the Cape races.

Three wide with no cover,he couldn't have been in a worse position.
At Greyville Marcus just has to look at another jockey and they crap themselves and let him in,no one was going to do that in the Summer Cup that's for sure.
