The first half or so of the card looks okay, famous last words, the last three races look really difficult. Here's how to get egg on one's face :-

R1) I fancy Radiant Love (15/2), back over less ground, races fairly handy, drawn okay, hoping the jock goes to the front from the jump and tries to steal this. The favourite, Go Man Go, if getting away on terms must be a huge runner, but only the race will tell.

R2) Black Knap (1/1), never mind he is a three year old going over ground, he does look one of the better bets on the day. Khopesh finished third in BK's debut win, and has come out and won twice since. The form is holding up.

R3) Mayfern (7/2), can be rewarded for consistency, probably bumping a field with somewhat equal ability, having run to some okay sorts should get it right. Has been some support in the market from an opening call of 4/1.

R4) Hexatonic (9/2), really think he will go close. Down in class, and if repeating his front running style, think he will be difficult to peg back. Worth an on the head bet.

R5) One World (11/10), his rating speaks for itself. Will strip a lot fitter and is well in here.

R6) Nastergal (7/1), the value bet on the card. If Boomps A Daisy is a 33/10 chance, then Nastergal must be shorter in the market based on their run of the 17/06. Nastergal is 4.5kgs better off for a 1.75 length beating. The dark horse here could be Celestial Storm.

The remainder of the card is extremely difficult.

Mike Robinson: KENILWORTH, 9 NOVEMBER 2019

RACE 1 off at 12:45 MDN 1200m

3. RADIANT LOVE (ROBERT KHATHI)

Drawn 3/10 and been gelded and expecting a good run but might be a bit on the sharp side and he hasn’t been for a grass gallop, but a super strong Trippi.

13. STORMKIND (ALDO DOMEYER)

Drawn 1/13 and a lovely big son of Sudden Storm, and if not too green then expecting a good debut.

RACE 8 off at 16:55 MR 78 1000m

11. WADI RUM (ROBERT KHATHI)

Drawn 4/11 and super galloping weight and expecting a really big run.

Warm summers day- course will run quite fast, although headwind expected to pick up later.
Race 1. Elusive Tango very green and needed first run badly. Has come on from that but will still need this one and further. Go Man Go and Speed of Night fair debuts and should improve. Bollinger and Radiant Love decent form. These four should fight it out unless a good first timer.
Race 2. Black Knap looks very promising and should follow up here. Vikram looks best of the older horses.
Race 3. An open maiden and all of 1,2,3,4,5, 9 could win. Dark Mistress has a tough draw, otherwise she would be my first choice. O Sole Mio unlucky last time and is lightly raced for a 4yo, so I will go for her despite the up and coming 3 yo’s.
Race 4. An open race with lots of improving 3yos. Super Silvano looks well in at the weights and is the value here. Hexatonic and Wild Coast the main dangers but others with chances.
Race 5 One World probably needed his last run but still won a good race. Should win again at the weights. Charles improved with gelding and may be the danger. Tap o Noth and Bunker Hunt both have chances. Search Party ran very well last time and the old man can never be ignored for quartets. Throw in More Magic as he needed his last and is well in at the weights on best form.
Race 6.Freedom Charter ran a great race for us last time and despite the weight has an ew chance. Very open race with quite a few of the lower weighted fillies on the upgrade.
Race 7. Herodotus is my first pick here. Dangers are Gimme one night, Strathdon and Dharma.
Race 8. Very open race.EW value is Wadi Rum.
Race 9.My Wicked Ways and What a Lover my first two picks at the weights. Binoche could be anything. Victoria Tower usually thereabouts. A few others with chances.
