TAB is expanding its range of Jackpot Quickmix pools from tomorrow Tuesday 29 October.

Going forward there will be five Jackpot Quickmix pools daily fixtures allowing.

The first Jackpot Quickmix pool daily will comprise only Australian races and the second will normally end with the first race at the South African meeting on the day.

Jackpot Quickmix three will normally begin with the last South African race of the afternoon and Quickmix four will comprise any combination of the final races at afternoon international meetings and the early races at international fixtures in the evening.

The other Jackpot Quickmix daily will be the Jackpot pool in the BLITZ race meeting, which comprises seven of the best races daily in a mid-afternoon timeframe.

TAB customers should note that from tomorrow the bets on BLITZ race meetings will comprise:

* PA Quickmix (BLITZ races 1 to 7)

* Pick 6 Quickmix (BLITZ races 2 to 7)

* Jackpot Quickmix (BLITZ races 4 to 7)

Phumelela TAB customers must mark VENUE OVAL 10 for bets on the BLITZ race meeting.

Jackpot Quickmix betting details are as follows:

* Quickmix ONE = mark VENUE OVAL 7 and RACE 1

* Quickmix TWO = mark VENUE OVAL 7 and RACE 5

* Quickmix THREE = mark VENUE OVAL 8 and RACE 1

* Quickmix FOUR = mark VENUE OVAL 8 and RACE 5

Finally someone realized that the Oz Harness Jackpot should not have been scrapped.
Anyhow the 1st Qmix is a better replacement to the Oz Jackpot, which was on the decline with dwindling pools. Neil Andrews will be marketing it aggressively daily together with the other Jackpots so that the pools don't dwindle, I suppose.

For some reason a Jackpot Quickmix seems to appeal to punters, so I suppose on can't fault the logic in trying to promote the bet.

Does anyone know how the pools of the recently introduced Blitz bets (which includes international races) compare to the original Blitz PA (only comprising of local races) - I would guess that there is not a big difference - and for me personally I don't see a future for these type of bets ?

The Blitz PA on a good day reached almost 50k when offered. The new Blitz bet, all their exotics combined reaches 50k.

In my opinion they should revert to the Blitz PA again.

iMO a blitz pa,,Bipot,/p6 and/or jackpot on Sa racing pools when 2 local meetings are on should be enough?
