Ascot sat 19th
5 years 7 months ago
Weather problems but an early post where bookies must be worried about another FRANKIE day.
He can win the opener with Advertise at 5/1 ish
Weather slight concern but no need for him not to win on the champ Stradivarius again at 13/20.
He can also win on Star Catcher 16/10
He can win on Coronet at 4/1 but might be pushed by Obrien and Donnacha ( Ryan in Aus) on Magical 16/10.
Plus yes he can win the last on Lord North at 4/1.
Frankie for double and trebles
Maybe a yankee on his best four
Good Punting

No, weather sunny down there only if there is a foot of water, or 3 inches of ice, an earthquake or a typhoon will they call off a meeting in the UK, unlike SA if it drizzles it’s off

Have to say that the Obrien laddie is a superb jock.

I read that Donjuan Triumphant, winner of R1 The Champion Sprint, was the first horse bought by the late Chairman of Leicester City FC who died in that helicopter crash. Sometimes life can be very lucky to some people but other times extremely bad to the same people.

That was one of the most amazing wins in a top level Sprint Race that I have ever seen. Donjuan Triumphant was baulked and interfered with on a number of occasions and with 400m to run, you would not have given him much hope of running a place - let alone win by a comfortable margin in the end. Well worth watching the replay!!
