Hollywoodbets Greyville Sunday Tips and Race Previews by Andrew Harrison

Race 1

4 VALIENTE 12 ODE 11 TREADING WATER 8 JAMES PETER
Preview: Betting will prove your best guide. Of the exposed runners, VALIENTE (4) made marked improvement when tried in blinkers and given the weak form of the balance, he looks to be the horse to beat. The filly ODE (12) found some betting support on debut and was not far back. TREADING WATER (11) and the first timer JAMES PETER (8 ) could feature. (Andrew Harrison: 4-12-11-8 ).

Race 2

12 ROYAL VIEW 10 GWENDOLYN 4 ANOTHER SECRET 7 EXPLOSIVE BEAUTY
Preview: Tricky. ROYAL VIEW (12) has turned in two smart efforts and from a good draw should go close again. GWENDOLYN (10) made a promising debut and should come on from that. ANOTHER SECRET (4) returns from a lengthy break but has shown ability. She may just need it but is one to watch in the betting. Many first timers but EXPLOSIVE BEAUTY (7) could prove the pick. (Andrew Harrison: 12-10-4-7).

Race 3

11 COTTAGE GARDEN 5 RETAIL THERAPY 10 BRUNILDA 6 LADY LEGEND
Preview: COTTAGE GARDEN (11) raced green in a promising debut and should come on lengths from that showing. RETAIL THERAPY (5) has shown up in two smart outings but has drawn wide in a competitive race. BRUNILDA (10) made a useful debut and is definitely in the mix as a possible winner. LADY LEGEND (6) failed narrowly last run and has been knocking at the door for some time now. (Andrew Harrison: 11-5-10-6).

Race 4

1 EXCLUSIVE QUANTITY 5 TWISE AS SMART 3 ARIANOS SHADOW 4 SILENT CRUSADE
Preview: EXCLUSIVE QUANTITY (1) steps up in trip but has smart form in useful company and is well weighted in this contest. TWICE AS SMART (5) has good form in strong company. She is course and distance suited. ARIANOS SHADOW (3) showed signs of her best form last outing and has a good draw. SILENT CRUSADE (4) has smart form over this trip. Ignore her last run. (Andrew Harrison: 1-5-3-4).

Race 5

1 JUST DIXIT 6 JOSEPH JAGGER 8 SELF-MASTERY 13 SMART FOX
Preview: JUST DIXIT (1) is way overdue having only finished out of the money once in ten outings. He is by far the best rated horse in the field and will never get a better chance. JOSPHE JAGGER (6) was a beaten favourite last run when making his local debut and blinkered for the first time could make him the biggest threat to the selection. SELF-MASTERY (8 ) went close at long odds last start while SMART FOX (13) was not far back on debut and seems sure to improve. (Andrew Harrison: 1-6-8-13).

Race 6

4 GEORGINA ROSE 1 JACK’S BIRD 2 WINTER SEASON 3 MARY O
Preview: GEORGINA ROSE (4) is unbeaten in two and was possibly a little lucky last run. However, she steps up to what may be her optimum tip and can follow up. JACK’S BIRD (1) has been rested but ran a cracker in a strong feature at the end of last season. She will be a big runner even if short of a run. Stable companion WINTER SEASON (2) has smart form to date. She has been rested and steps up in trip. She must have a chance, so too MARY O (3) who was narrowly beaten last start but does face a little stronger this time around. (Andrew Harrison: 4-1-2-3).

Race 7

5 LOVE THEME 3 MYSTIC DREAMER 2 CAYOTE GIRL 4 SOIREE
Preview: LOVE THEME (5) has been much improved with cheek pieces. She has a stronger rider aboard here and should be right there again. MYSTIC DREAMER (3) has some solid form to commend her and was an easy maiden winner last time out. COYOTE GIRL (2) made a fair local debut and boast steady Highveld form. SOIREE (4) landed a coup on debut. She should come on with the experience and can go in again. (Andrew Harrison: 5-3-2-4).

Race 8

9 ROCKET FIRE 7 MUTAWAARY 3 BLAZE OF SILK 6 ROYAL RUSTLER
Preview: ROCKET FIRE (9) was a touch disappointing last run and looks held of form. However, he races in a tongue-tie for the first time which could make a difference. MUTAWAARY (7) has been holding form well and should be thereabouts again. BLAZE OF SILK (3) comes from an in form stable. Goes well over course and distance. ROYAL RUSTLER (6) has shown his best form on the poly but has not been far back of late. (Andrew Harrison; 9-7-3-6)

TREADING WATER

COULD CHALLENGE THE FAVORITE

LOST1 LENGTH ON DEBUT NO THREAT OVER THE 1200M

Returning after a layoff, but can't ignore the fact the sister is a decent sprinter

For all those that have done there cash on the favourite , luckily you got sheldon to remind you after the race that 9 out of 10 horses coming from barrier trials need the run 1st time out , what a tosser
