Durbanville, 12/10

This looks extremely difficult. The first two races, hard to see an older horse win it, flip side, the three year olds are relatively unexposed, so a horse "not in the betting" could pop up and change the mood early in the day.

Having said that, R6, Elusive Trader, must be a massive runner. On it's last run to Pacific Trader, he does look to have Bwana held at the weights and on the draws.

The value bet for me is R5, Canukeepitsecret. The exposed form is not flash, however on the ratings and with the apprentice allowance, she could run them all down. She is unbeaten at Durbanville. She is returning from a rest, which is a concern. Must admit, for me it will be a case of the horse winning or going missing - no finishing second or third.

Trying to get some early money on a difficult card (I am anyway:) ), see Lead Singer has shortened significantly in the first, opened 22/10, now trading at around 17/10. Taken the double with Queens Club in the second, despite last running back in April, bookies are not taking any chances with this one. If the double does arrive, it's quite conceivable Double Reward could start favourite in the third.

EMPIRE GLORY (E/W)

FAIR FORM OVER C/D

Dst: 5:0-1-2
C&D:5:0-1-2

Sure the trainer would want to notch up his first winner of the season

Snaith stable are strong about their chances in race 2 with QUEENS CLUB
Returning after 150+ days off the track!!

Don't think she will win though

Comparing QUEENS CLUB AND CARIBBEAN SUNSET runs over C/D

Queens club
Drawn 8
Finished in 3rd place, 2.75lengths off the winner

Caribbean sunset
Drawn 9
Finished in 2nd place,0.50lengths off the winner

Caribbean sunset finished second against a way stronger horse POINT OF SALE WHO FINISHED 1.90LENGTHS OFF MONTREAL MIST IN THE GAGASI FM DEBUTANTE (Grade 2)

QUEEN'S CLUB RETURNING FROM A LAYOFF AND RAN AGAINST A POORER FIELD FIRST TIME OUT!!

CARRIBEAN SUNSET RUNNING 0.50LENGTHS OFF A HORSE WHO RAN A DECENT RACE IN A GRADE2

Also the trainer is hungry for his first win for the season

CARIBBEAN SUNSET (WIN)

THEMADIRISHSHERIFF (E/W)

This horse was progressing in the right way (6runs in total)

First 3runs

17.30L
4.50L
0.50L(3rd over the 1400m)

Last 3runs

11.70L
12.00L
Fell

He liked placed once and lost all confidence

But also his first 3 runs the going was G

NEXT 3runs S,Y and when he got to go over G ground again he Fell

If you ignore his last 3runs,You could definitely say He has an E/W chance on the way he was progressing(When he placed over the 1400m)
