Trainer comments for Greyville Polytrack Wednesday 2 October
October 1, 2019

Race 1

Shane Humby
No 1 Diamondsandpearls – Is better than her last run suggests and she has a chance here
Kom Naidoo
No 9 Irish Pearl – She barrier trialed well on the poly and I’m looking for improvement from her last run

Race 2
Duncan Howells
No 1 Accidental Tourist – She has a big weight to carry but is a consistent mare and should be in the first 3
Alyson Wright
No 6 Someone Exciting – Has a place chance
Tony Rivalland
No 5 Duchess Lane – Has her first run out of maiden company, so just hoping for a decent run
Kom Naidoo
No 9 Royal Kaitrina – Takes on a bit stronger here but can run into the places

Race 3
Dennis Bosch
No 6 Duzi Moon – He’s drawn a bit wide but is an honest horse who always finishes thereabouts
No 7 Mutawaary – He has his first run since March but is doing well at home,However, he also has a bad draw to overcome
No 5 Royal Rustler – Has had two nice comeback runs and he should be in the shake-up
Duncan Howells
No 3 Coldhardcash – He’s always shown a lot at work and if he reproduces his last race, he should be in the first 3
Tony Rivalland
No 12 Despicable – Has loads of ability but also has his share of problems. If all is okay on race day, he will have a winning chance
Michael Roberts
No 13 The King Of Random – He does not have the best of draws but does his best on the poly track
Nathan Kotzen
No 11 Moshav – He’s an honest horse in a competitive field. Has an each-way chance

Race 4
Alyson Wright
No 7 Preferential – Coming to hand, has a good each-way chance
Nathan Kotzen
No 4 Queen Makeda – Will be trying a longer trip and I’m hoping she can run into the quartet

Race 5
Alyson Wright
No 3 Deposition – Never far off them, place chance

Race 6
Dennis Bosch
No 6 Jamie’s Joy – Has a wide draw to overcome and I will be happy if she can run a decent race
No 10 Lady Secret – She has come on since her maiden win and is one to include in quartets
Kom Naidoo
No 9 Skyfire – Seems better suited to the turf but is showing some nice work at home

Race 7
Dennis Bosch
No 9 Secret Dynasty – Will need the run
No 7 What A Blast – Is course and distance suited and should run a big race
Duncan Howells
No 1 Legend – He’s a consistent performer but tackles a tough field. Quartet chance
Michael Roberts
No 8 Hand On Heart – He returns from a rest. His work has been good but he may just be short of a run
No 10 The Private – He has a nice lightweight and could run into the places

Race 8
Nathan Kotzen
No 9 Marry In Haste – She is looking for further but is well and has a place chance
Kom Naidoo
No 1 Strawberrypoptart – Battling, hoping to see some improvement

my favorite race meeting quite like this card

we strart in the 1st where i was hoping for a trainer comment on jetrix because i really fancy Diamondsandpearls very strongly
r1 - just the 1 and 10
r2 - little bit more open here plenty in with chance here my 1st selection was going to be accidental tourist but its not so easy i think we learned a valuable lesson yesterday we giving these appies to much credit so i think someone exciting deserve the nod here but ill be putting all of 1 2 3 4 6 8 9

r3 - not as tough as r2 but 12 10 1 3 5 should see us through watchout royal rustler!!

r4 - preferential for me here but should be between 2 and 7

r5 - 2 3 5 6 7 more than enough

r6 - thru the trees represent the value in the race is my 1st selection from skyfire and sheza rockstar mythical magic can follow up 2 3 9 11

r7 - on paper gimme peace stands out on snowy mountain run but i like 2 other horses here there is a horse at any price here THE Private boy oh boy i fancy this horse and uncle frank looks to be another must go in what a blast look held for me by uncle frank with the improvement factor to come...

r8 - Arrabiata best !!! i thaught i found some value with 1 strawberry and i know when Muzi finds a horse with kaylas champ formline he always wants to ride but in this field i dont see how any of them can beat ARRABIATA banker and p6 collect

MISS CHARLOTTE (WIN)

BLINKERS ON!!

DROP BACK TO THE 1200M

DRAWN 2

Last 2runs over the 1200m she has been Favorite to win!!

Penultimate run was Drawn 9-10
She finished in 7th place 3.50lengths off the winner...Wide lacked finish (put a line through this effort)

If you look at 2past efforts over track and trip where she finished 4th and 3rd respectively, you could say she will win this race easily of those formlines

On both those occasions she was under 2lengths off Montreal mist, who is now a group 2 winner

If she brings those runs to the track today :woohoo: :woohoo: RACE OVER AND @4/1

INDIAN RAIN (E/W)

DRAWN POLE POSITION

1RUN OVER C/D FINISHING 15+ LENGTHS OFF THE WINNER (WAS NOT STRIDING OUT)

HER 1900M RUN BEFORE THAT WHERE SHE FINISHED IN 3RD PLACE 1LENGTH OFF THE WINNER ORIENT EXPRESS

ORIENT EXPRESS SINCE WINNING HER MAIDEN

WON POST MAIDEN RUN
AND 2SHORT HEAD SECONDS

Apprentice takes -1.5kgs off and if repeating that run when running on over the 1900m,she should have a good chance today
