r3- muzi jumps off crazy Charlie to ride fire to the rein perfectly put has been gelded and decock gets them ready first time stormy winter jumps from pole and is well bred if not to green is a runner our man in havannah will jump from gate 12 but will appreciate step up in distance
r4 - 3 horses for me here me melchizedek get only get a 3kg rise for a good win the only problem is i dont know if the race will plan out so nicely as last western oasis should take the pace royal city is another horse that obviously warrants respect but half a kilo im not sure will be enough the horse i like which i think is worth an ew bet is Archilles ran in a 72 penultimate short head to african rock whose form has been franked and reported abn respiratory noise nice value 1 9 8 ew ARCHILLES
r5 - not easy kapama is the horse to beat but no great thing black tie won maiden well but not for me today empress rock is a runner ufo can upset comet crystal and oceana formline franked targaryan queen 1st run for new stable with stable jock up WATCH kapama pa banker
r6 - not easy more i look the harder it gets not a strong field by any means and i suppose Gemcutter is the improver and another habib matchett combo look past this one can make a case for all
r7- goodness me gents one of the toughest cards ive studied in a very long time who knows whats fit catch this bipot you rich and pa for that matter if silver spectrum fit is the horse to beat defy gravity consistantly running well field only option unfortunately
r8 - littlewood ew needed comeback run ran a great race penultimate against the boys always big respect
r9 - slay the dragon finally not drawn in the bush and will take a chance and banker
nb best not to play tomorrow
calling Frodo and chicken n chips for help tomorrow sorry lads not much help
I'm afraid Frodo not much help today - looks hard to me as well .... 6 tough Handicaps and 3 Maiden Plates where there are many first timers ....
R1: Guessing game - I'm not that confident on May Queen - beat Nordic Queen a length on debut and ND then ran 6 lengths off them in her next start - first timers probably hold the key, Allmyloving and Seraphina could provide place value
R2: Tokolosh imo has the best form, but that 1 draw is not an advantage; so again the first timers should fight it out
R3: Fire to the Rein has a lot going for him here; Our Man in Havana main danger and if Striker can get him in 'striking' distance from a wide draw, he may trouble the favorite; Stormy Winter is finding a lot of support in the market, so from pole position can't be ignored - I make it between those 3
R4: Competitive - Archilles I agree could be the value from a nice draw, but has not found the winner's enclosure for 491 days, so place chance again imo; Category Four will run at them again from behind, but I do prefer Irrevocable Dream over him; next best imo Royal City from the stable mates Melchizedek and Western Oasis
R5: Not as easy as it would first appear imo; Kapama has found form, but not too much between her and Kirconnel Lass (hasn't won for 693 days  ); Ufo may be worth another chance and the stable expressed confidence; big roughie imo It Takes Two - off form since her Maiden Win, but the form lines of those runs in Maiden company looks strong (was beaten only 0.5 lengths by Florida Quays at level weights, while Kapama got beat 2 lengths by FQ RECEIVING 11 kgs  ) - tries blinkers and could be the surprise package
R6: Typical handicap - I think maybe Hot August can strike in September - but a possible FIELD race imo
R7: Another handicap where quite a few need consideration; Finchatton imo best this distance and can follow up; Ragoon may be the stable choice, but Defy Gravity is consistently running into the money and with Silver Spectrum and I Am Batman can't be ignored
R8: Jacko Boy in form and with Jive Express and Always Red (blinker strike) look the main ones, but Litttlewood (on indirect form to Corrido) could make them all run
R9: Many with chances again; I'm including Woodland's Forest who has a big advantage at the weights with French Leave and Village Deep on the run behind Zeal and Zest
Enjoy
racec1 money for the stable compagnion to all my loving and one has to feel chase could be the right one for places maybe
or both

Blinkers and tongue tie on
This horses runs over the 1400m & 1600m (poor efforts, no show)
BUT THEIR IS FORM OVER THE 1200M
Debut run Vaal 1200m
Finished 4th 10lengths off the winner
Vac 1200
Draw 7-12
Finished in 5th place this time but 3.25lengths off the winner
Comment (Pace-lacked finish)
Although not finishing in the placing in her penultimate run,she showed 6.75lengths improve over the distance at her second attempt
Drops to minimum trip today, equipment change and -4kg claim comments say she shows pace

So I assume most are taking an early shower today after those 2 results - easy afterwards, but Golden Spiral must have had some sort of chance - only bad run was her last - pole position draw, Bling - as I say, easy afterwards.
Still batting in the PA - let's see

Results at the Vaal the last few months have been stiffer than any Kimberley and PE fixtures.

I can't comment, as I seldom indulge at Flamingo or Fairview - but the only real upset so far today imo was Olofberg - but a good way to structure a P6 or JP at the Vaal Classic track, is to include the runner in pole position as your first pick (for races around the turn mainly - although the inside draw down the straight today helped as well) - then look at the other factors ... of which odds offered should be the least contributing factor ..... after the overall form of the horse, trainer and jockey form etc
So easy afterwards
