He should be criminally charged as well. I remember a lady got a R20k fine for dog abuse in Pinetown not long ago. They should report him to the SPCA.

....we don't know what really happened because he didn't even bother attend the hearing....so the assumption of guilt is not far fetched.

.....being a son of a trainer and my Daddy dying in a similar fashion when I was also young did not equip me with life skills either....he may be too ashamed that he failed and not knowing what to do.... bailed ....but we will not know until his story has been told....:huh:

.....that very balanced NHA...that failed to take action or even mention a certain KZN owner breeder whose horses were found in a similar if not worse condition.....please how quickly we forget.....:blush:

....not plugging for JJ here....he got what is deserved for not standing up and pleading poverty or incompetence....his daddy surely left him the farm and he could/should have got help rather than turning the horses into the sparse fields....
