Why does the Union have these stay-aways on non race days?
I have sent an email to Vavi requesting he please checks the racing calendar to ensure he can arrange the next work stoppage falls in line with a meeting at the Vaal or the big T.

Its only fair for the poor punters.

There have been stayaways on race days on the highveld for years. In fact if it continues at the rate it is going ( the efforts of the RA have had little effect on the general public attendance levels ) I will volunteer to switch the lights off.
