Kenilworth

Race 1

Greg Ennion
No 3 Empire Glory is fit and well and I am expecting a good run.
Vaughan Marshall
No 5 Spy has an each-way chance.

Race 2

Candice Bass-Robinson
No 2 Sweet Karma; Consistent and will have a good chance from a good draw.
No 14 Princess Angeline : First run around the turn, her action may
not be that suited to the wet and she is drawn unfavourably, so it
should be tough for her but she must be included anyway.
Glen Kotzen
No 6 End Of Innocence is a big strong filly but will need the experience.
No 15 Snow Treasure is a big strong filly but will need the experience.
Greg Ennion
No 8 Floreana : It is very hard to know how she will go in these tough
conditions. It has been raining non-stop
Vaughan Marshall
No 12 Just Joyce is a nice filly but will need the run.

Race 3

Vaughan Marshall
No 2 At The Office is trying this distance and has a place chance.
Bill Prestage
No 10 Superbus ran a fairly decent race last time out. His work has
been good and I am expecting a nice race from him

Race 4

Harold Crawford
No 4 Alfred's Girl has an each-way chance
Candice Bass-Robinson
No 5 Rock Trip : If she handles the going she could be a factor.
No 7 Tattooed Rocker is holding her form better now and should be a factor here.

Race 5

Vaughan Marshall
I do prefer the chance of Mirage over Binoche and Stella's Story and I
give her a big winning chance.
Piet Botha
No 5 Tiger Roll is very well but is in a tough race but unfortunately,
I couldn't find a race for till November. Hopefully, she will run well

Race 6

Candice Bass-Robinson
No 1 Outoftheordinary : First run out of the Maidens, It's a step up
and we are not sure how that form will hold but we are hoping to be
competitive
Vaughan Marshall
No 3 Shadowing is in with a good chance
Piet Botha
No 7 Optimum carries a big weight but is progressive. This is a race
to get him ready for the sales race in the future
No 9 Quarllo is having his last race and I am hoping it will be a good
one for him. He is at best this distance. If he can jump on terms he
has a chance with a light-weight

Race 7

Harold Crawford
Both my runners No 6 Ready Steady Go and No 14 Spectral Force are
returning from a break so will need the run.
Vaughan Marshall
No 7 Kenny Trix hasa definite chance.

Race 8

Vaughan Marshall
No 4 Lasata has an each-way chance
No 5 Black Knap is a lovely colt but will need further.
Greg Ennion
No 11 Winter Tango is doing well but I am unsure how he will go on a
soft/heavy track.

Brett Crawford (E/W chances Race 1,2&3)

BAG OF TRICKS
3.25lengths of the winner, first start over the 1200m
Comment:Jumpd out-eased late

CAMINO PALMERO
Finished in 6th place 9.40lengths of the winner
Their was a lot off pace in the race and the field was well stretched out!!
Comment:Green never In it

#The sister Dream baby dream,Won maiden in second start over the 1400m Kenilworth also placed twice over the 1400m in 6starts

#The dam placed 4times over the 1400m (Mr90 plus horses) also one of those placing was in the Diana stakes at Kenilworth!!

With scratching CAMINO PALMERO moves into Draw 9 and the field looks open, good chance when green and not showing much on Debut!!

KURSK
57/20
16/10
17/10
Favorite in last 3starts
the last run should be ignored, something must have went wrong!!
Past form is consistent over the 1600m
Should set the record straight today and shed the maiden tag!!

There has been quite a bit of rain since Saturday meeting, so the going remains very heavy.
Tailwind predicted.
Race 1 Big field and the going appeared best down the inside on Saturday. Nevil Mu, Hurricane Harry and Bag of Tricks good debuts and are my shortlist.
Race 2 Halliberry good improvement last start and the one to beat, unless a good first timer pops up.Howl and Sweet Karma are more exposed but capable of running in the money.
Race 3. Kursk was very poor last time after 3 good runs- hard to know what to expect of him today. Day Trip is a long time maiden but may get it right today. Mary Moon also poor last time after showing promise earlier.Yosma stays well and should earn.
Race 4. We have Grey Princess here- she is fit and well and is still improving, but has a big weight to carry and I think that there are a few others that are better in at the weights on recent form. She needs to step up a couple of lengths if she is to win today. Tattooed Rocker, Miss D'Aray, Alfred's Girl and Power Girl all need to go into the exotics.
Race 5. Mirage is the one to beat here.
Race 6.An open race and quite a few that are not too consistent. Optimum has the most scope for improvement.
Race 7 Man about Town is consistent but may find this a bit short. Fifty Cents has done well in PE and only got 5 points raise whereas the CT horses got 10 points. Russet Air well drawn and consistent and should be right there. Platinum Prince has been below best last three but capable if finding best form. Coral Bay is a danger if she can regain form.
Race 8 Quintay has had two good runs and is the one to beat from a nice draw. Quite a few with chances in a tricky race as a number of lightly raced 3 yos take on a couple of older horses with fair form.

with not much confidence, but at 50/1 and 6/1 top 4, Spellman may well be worth a EW nibble...

Not sure of the facts, but am assuming Snaith took this one up to Durban with his string for the season. Doubt he would of done this if it was a terrible runner. Hoping it did not take to the poly and a return to the grass, it show show improvement. At the price, cannot get hurt...
