I believe our Boksburg team eventually addressed this, paid you out and apologized. Our area manager will be following up today with regards to the incident, and will be calling you with more info on what happened. We apologize for the inconvenience and miscommunication. We will be addressing this from all angles, as it's not the level standard we aspire to.

I agree with you Bob. Here's the issue though. I don't even have an account with Hollywood so that point renders null and void.
2ndly, their reason for paying out had nothing to do with users per household. It was that my wife placed a bet on a horse of under 5/10 and that's why they didn't pay out. They even came up with a reduced amount that they were happy to pay out, and not the full withdrawal amount. Can you believe it?! This was absolutely hogwash and we had to go into the statement through each bet to show that this was untrue.
We had to explain this to the SUPERVISOR who eventually, realised that he couldn't cheat us anymore and conceded. We read out their very own rules to them, line by line, to prove that what they were doing was just thievery! He went absolutely silent and then just said "I will sort out the payment right away!"
Id expect this from my newly erected bookmaker down the road, not an establishment as supposedly big as this one.

Actually, Hollywood’s t’c and c’s are very fair and straightforward – turnover full deposit and bonus once at 5/10 or better (I think they even allow tote bets with the money).
The fact that their staff doesn't understand the procedure is the only thing they must improve on.
Go read the t’c and c’s of other bookies that give bonuses – not even close to Hollywood’s.
wsb – turnover FIVE TIMES, and then they limit you when your halfway through
betolimp – what a limp bunch- go read their turnpver requirements - laughable
etc., etc
no one else even close

Anyone having a problem with account logging out after a short time?
Took a bet and 5 minutes later took another bet but had to log in again.
This could be troublesome if taking a last minute bet as you have to fill out the betting slip all over again.

Been happening to me for a while now every day. I thought it was my wi-fi dropping the connection.

Hi Gents,
I see there are guys complaining about our site logging them out. We have a session in place that will log the client out after 20 minutes of inactivity, this has been the case for years. If they are being logged out earlier, then it could be network related. We have checked our servers and everything seems fine currently.
Kind regards,
Simon

20 minutes is a bit short-sighted for a horse racing betting site, Generally, the time between races is 35 minutes per meeting in SA. There has been several times that I have wanted to place a bet just before the off only to find I have been logged out. I would suggest you look at increasing the time closer to an hour which would then at least include 2 races.

I would make sure of that Simon.
Why are people complaining only now if this system has been in use for years.
In my instance this has never happened to me before and I have been a customer for more many years.
What I can say is that something has definitely changed in the last few week.
could it be something to do with load shedding?
