Gold Circle advises that due to adverse weather conditions in the Western Cape the racemeeting scheduled at Kenilworth Racecourse for Sunday, 3 August 2008, has been postponed to Tuesday, 5 August 2008. In excess of 100mm of rain has been recorded at Kenilworth in the past 48 hours and further rain is predicated for the remainder of the day.
The National Fixtures Committee has sanctioned the postponement in recognition of the fact that the Western Cape has already lost a number of racemeetings in recent months.
The programme for this racemeeting will remain unchanged.
