Small field , as was the case with the Daily News; however at least half the field has a chance of winning this, so a much better example of quality vs quantity

Soqrat will show that his last run was all wrong, currently at a decent price. Why he will win?, this was always his mission.
Unlike Rainbow Bridge, can win but won't be fully wound up, so I don't see them cutting him in half to win this.
Do It Again, seasonal debut, and pretty much the same reasons as above.

Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

RISING SUN GOLD CHALLENGE GRADE 1
An action packed meeting that includes five feature races and plenty of entertainment and excitement takes place at Greyville in Durban on Saturday featuring the R1-million, Grade 1 Rising Sun Gold Challenge where the winners of last year’s Vodacom Durban July and January’s Sun Met are among those set to battle it out for the R625 000 winner’s purse.
The pair, from the stables of Justin Snaith and Eric Sands respectively, last met in the 2 000m Sun Met at Kenilworth in January where Rainbow Bridge just beat Do It Again by three-quarters of a length. After winning the Vodacom Durban July last year, Do It Again won the Grade 1 L’Ormarins Queen’s Plate before his second place in the Sun Met showing he is one of the best horses in the country.
For Do It Again it will be his first race in KwaZulu-Natal this year while Rainbow Bridge gave notice that he is ready to rumble when flying through in the home straight to finish second behind Undercover Agent in the Independent On Saturday Drill Hall Stakes.
Again at level weights, Do It Again and Rainbow Bridge are expected to fight out the finish even though Brett Crawford’s Undercover Agent is also in the race and Mike de Kock and Sean Tarry field top contenders like Soqrat, Matador Man and Cirillo and Dennis Drier races his smart Dynasty filly, Lady In Black.
The Grade 3 Cup Trial includes six Vodacom Durban July entries that will be all out to impress the July Selection Panel when they choose the final 20 horses that will feature in the programme. This is a competitive field and a close finish and possible upset result can be expected.
There will be top-class action throughout the meeting that includes the three finals of the very competitive KZN Winter Challenges that usually produce close and exciting racing and often result in upset results that lead to large payouts in the exotic bets such as the Pick 6 where the pool on Saturday is expected to reach at least R3-million.
