Vintage South African Horse Racing Facebook Site
6 years 2 weeks ago
After posting my own pics on the above Facebook site, of which I am a member..
Some idiot (group admin) decided to block me from commenting and not being a member any longer on this page.
If you are reading this, please explain why?
Or did lost your house and wallet on Pomodoro, the 2012 July winner, to which effect I posted my own race pictures?..
Faceless bully!

Any reason given why they blocked you?

I posted 3 July pics of Pomodoro winning the 2012 July, see below, and some guy commented on it and.. whambam...
My other post attracted many likes and followers, I took my own pics, attending these races myself, the other members posted pics out of old books, eg. History of the July, Greyville.. nothing new, maybe the person blocking me could not handle fresh pics?

Hi The Saint and it looks like the site wants to live up to its name, which is Vintage Sa Racing?
That picture of the horse in the No 1 saddle, is pure classic.
Galvinator, with jockey probably Billy Harvey in the saddle, was a top class sprinter .Trained in Clairwood by the Passmores, the horse won many races over sprint distances carrying top weight on many occasions.
Any members remember Galvinator, could add further?

Give credit where it is due, great site, but geezz.. not allowing other people's comments or options if the different from yours?
Most pics they post on that site is scanned out of magazines and newspapers, I got the real thing, never seen before pics!

Got likes from very influential racing people...
I actually been to 30 Julys in my life, 15 plus Mets, I watch the Arc at Longchanps when Treve won...
I could be regarded as vintage myself

Hi The Saint, I know Charles ( admin) well and asked him what had happened. He just said that at this stage 2012 is not vintage at all so he deleted them and muted you which gives you 24 hrs on hold.

Clearly Charles is not in Marketing or Customer Liaisons...

I see The Saint and Charles have communicated on the group and seems to have sorted it all out.
