My selections are as follows
Race 1: #noBet, too many first time runners
Race 2: Dancing Queen (win), tana's eagle (win/place)
Race 3: El Sereno (win), undiscovered gem (win/place)
Race 4: Josi Di Nero (win)
Race 5: State Star (win) Rustling Leaf (win)
Race 6: Royal Italian (win) Jubilee Line (win) Trifecta (3,8,1 + 8,3,1)
Race 7: #noBet, too many runners
Race 8: Mythical Bolt (win) TalkToTheStars (eachway)
Race 9: #noBet, too many runners
I think its gonna be a good day for Gavin, and odd trainers.
maybe some surprises from Strydom and Muzi Yeni

Race 1
Chris Erasmus
No 2 Can Can - Will be green
Tobie Spies
No 4 Cockney Pride - Will need the experience
Dorrie Sham
No 7 Flagship Fund - Will need the experience
Paul Matchett
No 8 Kayla's Champ - Will need the run
Alec Laird
No 10 Malteza - Ran a decent race first time out and can be included
in the quartets
Ashley Fortune
No 1 Black Tie - Has improved since her debut and hoping to get into the money.
Race 2
Geoff Woodruff
No 3 Starlighttemptress - Comes off a good maiden win. However she is
obliged to run in this assessment plate and we're not sure about the
weight she carries and whether the track and trip will suit her. Will
just have to see how it goes.
Fabian Habib
No 6 Tana's Eagle - Takes on some decent fillies here. Place chance
Race 3
Dianne Stenger
No 10 Blind Asset - Will be suited to much further
Sean Tarry
No 12 Slay The Dragon - Will need the run
Candice Dawson
No 14 Tyrell - Choked up on his debut so we have fitted him with a
tongue tie and also put on the blinkers. Hoping for an improved
performance
Race 4
Sean Tarry
No 15 Someone's Secret - Improvement expected
Candice Dawson
No 14 Miss Tycoon - May still be in need of this run
Race 5
Sean Tarry
No 1 Hafla - May need the run
Alec Laird
No 5 State Star - Seems to be in the right race for her and she should
have a good chance.
Race 6
Fabian Habib
No 3 Jubilee Line - He's fit and well but takes on a competitive
field.Has an each way chance
Race 7
Paul Matchett
No 5 Royal Honour - Will need the run
Alec Laird
No 4 Divine Connection - He drops down a bit in class and should have a shout
in this field.
Candice Dawson
No 3 Orapa - He's well in himself and can be competitive here.
Ashley Fortune
No 16 What A Joker - Ran below his ability last time and we hoping to
see a better run from him.
Race 8
Ashley Fortune
No 7 Mount Keith - Is battling in the company that he has been racing
against recently and will do better once he comes down the ratings.
Geoff Woodruff
No 2 Polar Ice - Although we are going back to 1200 meters, jockey
Gavin Lerena feels he does show enough speed to warrant giving it a
try over this distance. So should be included.
Race 9
Sean Tarry
No 16 Code Writer - May need the run
Candice Dawson
No 12 I Ain't Trippin - Is well in herself and can be competitive
