Thank you for the wonderful memories and the joy you brought to the sport. Such a pity your career had to end this way. You will always be a champion in many people's eyes and you will be sorely missed.

Mr A Delpech...legend...one of the best jockeys SA produced...will be sorely missed... sincerely hope you recover fully ...would love to see Anthony as a trainer one day

Not easy to make an enforced career change when you were very good at your old career .. wish him and his family only the very best for the future.

His ride on Classic Flag in the 1998 July will rank as one of the most astute rides I have witnessed. Drawn in the bush and having been beaten by Flying News in the Daily News in the build up, AD rode a pearler to win easily.

It is always sad when a true professional has his career cut short by the hazards of the profession.wishing anthony all the very best for the future , which i am sure will be in a different capacity in the sport. thank you for providing us with many many memorable moments and many bankers
