UK/Fairyhouse Tuesday Cards

R1 Lingfield Megalodon E/W @66/1 (Bet365, BetVictor) - reckon this will go off no bigger than 12s or 14s and the price will tumble at some point tomorrow.

Appreciate Steck but our options are limited its 33/1 and "2/1 " for a place and aware the fav is 1/5
So unless you have a Betfair type option or possibly SportingBet with better place prices, however you have to take the ew with SB .
Rock and a hard place for us, all the best.

Not saying Megalodon will win, Dave, or that the favourite will get beat, but I can guarantee that anyone who makes a habit of backing 1/5 shots in 14-runner novice hurdles will go skint - look at what happened at Fontwell yesterday.

Fully understand Steck and a lay better than a play at 1/5 but was keen to have a place but not at 2/1 when the price is around 33/1
If i have a few bob in kitty after the early Vaal races where they like Basilius
Good punting

1/5 in general.... for every one that loses you need to back 5 winners just to get back to even....

The point i was making was, the poor place price was due to the very short priced fav.
