Dear Tellytrack..............again.

Copy of an email sent to Tellytrack this afternoon. What odds I get a reply?

Dear Sir/Madam,

Could you please explain the following :

For many years I have accessed your Tellytrack UK stream through Interbet. In order to access these ‘pictures’ I have been required to have a bet; which seemed like a reasonable deal to me as I got to see and bet on all of the UK racing without interruption from South African racing at ‘world class’ (sic) venues such as Flamingo Park, Durban/PE polytracks etc . Better still it saved me the agony of having to listen to much of the uninformed nonsense sprouted by whatever in-studio ‘presenter’ was on duty at Tellytrack.

As of about a week ago this service appears to have been drastically curtailed. Today, for example, only Taunton is being streamed when there are also meetings at Lingfield & Doncaster. Weirdly the Lingfield meeting is available on Tellytrack but not being streamed.

Seeing that neither yourselves nor Interbet regard it as important or necessary to keep punters informed I was wondering whether there is someone in your organisation who might be willing to tell me what is going on?

As I don’t bet on races I cannot see you have simply reduced my betting by 2/3rds today. This is no problem for me as I see my betting as an unfortunate addiction so actually appreciate the help that you are unwittingly giving me to control my weakness. I am not sure, however, whether those holding your Phumelela shares with its ever plummeting price would agree!

There was a new rights deal in the UK and Racing UK has changed to Racing TV. They only cover 70% of UK and Ireland racecourses. Attheraces has been taken over by Skysports and are negotiating to take over more racing rights of racecourses.

TT get their pictures from GBI ( another seperate company)

All the TV deals were ripped up in UK and there was huge disputes.

Phumelela have a deal with Arena if I remember correctly

Two weeks + 1 day later - not a peep.

There's racing at Doncaster today (Friday) but nothing from either Tellytrack or the Interbet stream.

Quite a lot of betting activity so where are these punters viewing the action?
